And so he climbed up a mountain and began to shoot the suns . He knew that having 10 suns were bad . But shooting all of them was worse .He shot down all but one to benefit the people .He was a HERO . The Earth and the land survived. He was well known and Hou Yi received something as a reward… …
Soon after Chang’ Er swallowed the elixir, she floated and flew up high in to the sky…… But she realized that she could not leave Hou Yi behind. She had no turning back. She flew to the moon which was the closest to the earth so that she could see her husband.

This was how the name of “moon cake” came from… The legend until now is well kept. And it has become a celebration among the Chinese now. Celebrated throughout the world of all ages…young or old , children or adults. And it is a good day for us to gather as one…
One day…when Hou Yi went out ,An evil decided to steal the elixir that was kept by his wife at home. Chang’ Er in order to protect it from falling into the evil’s hand… She swallowed the elixir……
Hou Yi then brought out Chang’ Er’s favorite from the house. He then sat outside the house and under the moon…calling out her name and had her favorite delicacy. The date was exactly on the 15th day of the 8th month lunar calendar. Since then the legend is celebrated every year…generation to generation…
