My Favorite Subject

Do you know what my favorite subject is? Let me tell you! Someone does well in math, but I am not good at it. However my favorite subject is English, because I love English .I think that learning English is fun and easy! English opens the door to the world .and it is important for us to use it every day, as well it helps me know some new things and communicate with the world .My dream is to be an English teacher. This is my goal.

Spring Festival

Dear Mike,

How are you? I’m really glad that you are interested in traditional Chinese festivals. There are many traditional festivals in China, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Day and so on. I’d like to introduce the Spring Festival to you. Spring Festival is the most important traditional holiday in China. It usually lasts for 15 days.

Days before the festival, people clean their houses. They think cleaning sweeps any bad luck. They decorate their houses with paper cuts. On the eve of the festival, family members get together and have big meals. Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. At midnight, they set off fireworks to welcome the new year. During the festival, kids get lucky money from old people. People visit their relatives and friends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happ y we are.

How to learn English

Learning English takes lots of time and we should also have good ways. We should listen to the teacher and take notes carefully in class. Try to speak in English as much as possible. After class we'd better go over what is learn first and then finish doing our homework carefully. Then prepare for the new lessons. When we have time, we'd better read English, watch English programs, try to write diary in English. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Correct the mistakes at once and try not to make the same mistakes. I am sure if we work hard, We'll learn English well.

Winter holiday

The winter holiday is coming. I expect it very much, because the Spring Festival is the most important event in the holiday. First, I will relax myself. This term I work very hard, so during the holiday, I want to have fun. My families will go back to the hometown. We will get together to celebrate the Spring Festival.

I like families getti ng together and organize various activities. It’s funny and warm. Of course, study can’t be ignored. After the festival, I will spend some time in my study. There will be exercises for the holiday. And I will do some reviews for next term. Math is my weakness, so I must work hard to improve it. This
