1.教师需要培养学生的自信心,鼓励学生自主学习英语英语是一门语言学科,因此学生要想学好英语就必须自己主动地去说英语、读英语、写英语,但是由于学生在传统的课堂中受到了教师太多的限制,因此他们学习英语的积极性和自信心都变得很低,如果学生没有学习英语的自信心,那么他们是很难鼓舞自己多说、多读英语的,所以为了帮助学生更好地进行学习,教师就需要在教学的时候培养学生学习的自信心,让他们敢于表现自己,这样才能逐步的激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生自己主动地去学习。

比如说在学习《Traveljournal》的时候,笔者就在学生学习的时候运用鼓舞性的语言给他们进行教学,只要学生做出了一定的努力,笔者都会对他们进行一定的肯定,让学生认识到自己的进步,这样就逐渐的培养起学生学习的自信。

例如在让学生阅读课文的时候,有些学生缺乏自信,他们不敢大声地将文章读出来,这时笔者就鼓励他们,在经过笔者的鼓励之后,学生开始初步的进行阅读尝试,而当他们读完之后,笔者就鼓励他们,告诉他们读的不错,这样学生的自信就被培养了出来。

学生的自信心被培养了出来,他们学习的兴趣也被激发出来,每一个人都开始积极地进行自主学习。

2.教师需要给学生自主学习的空间笔者觉得学生的主体能动性之所以没有得到增长,主要就是因为我们教师没有给学生自主学习的空间,在传统的课堂上,教师一直占据着课堂的主体地位,他们总是命令学生去学习,这就使得学生失去了学习的自由,而且由于长时间受到教师的限制,学生学习的积极性也被降低了,所以为了让学生更好地发挥自身的主体能动性去学习,我们教师就必须给学生自主学习的空间。

高中英语论文|高中英语课堂教学中的几个新问题
伴随着中学英语新一轮课程改革的浩荡春风,教纲在变,教材在变,教师的教学思想也在变,一个突出的现象就是课堂教学模式的改变。

就高中英语新教材(人教版)在课堂上的深入使用方面,许许多多的英语教师大胆改革,成效显著。

但是,实际的英语课堂教学不能说就完美无缺,没有问题。

新的问题主要表现在如下几个方面:
一、师生主体错位
在教与学的对立统一关系中,教与学的矛盾是教学环节的基本矛盾。

我们虽然对“以教师为主导,学生为主体”的课堂教学理念毋庸质疑,但是从实际的、常规的课堂教学过程来看,至今,课堂教学中还尚未真正改变传统的“以教师为中心”的现象,课堂上教师从头讲到尾,学生只是忠实的听众,忽略了学生的学(自主学习能力)。

相反,有些教师利用新教材组织了一些以学生为主体的课堂教学活动,但是,也只能说它是一种表象而已(突出地表现在公开课上),“花拳秀腿”,没有实际的意义。

有的教师在处理该教材的过程中,要么出几个问题学生自学,要么让学生试讲,要么搞些同步导练就算“突出了以学生为主体”的教学思想。

这两种做法都是片面的。

高中英语课堂上教师应积极为学生创设情景,使学生能在较为真实的语境中获得真正的英语交际能力。

不同的教学阶段,教师要不断地转变自己的主导角色,或者充当总指挥,总导演与裁判员的作用,构思,编排,组织和评价课堂练习活动,或者“传道,授业,解惑”,充当英语基础知识的有效讲解者,或者充当“划船水手”的作用,与学生平等地完成课堂教学活动等。

二、滥用教学媒体和教具
新教材突出了英语语言的交际功能,与社会生活实际紧密相关,时代感强。

因此,若能合理使用教学媒体,就能改变传统的“教师一枝粉笔、一张嘴,从头至尾一言堂”的局面,若能将媒体使用恰当,就能极大地激发学生的学习兴趣,启迪学生的积极思维,准确模仿与交际,而且,能够很好地突破教学的重点和难点,显示其直观性与化繁难为简易的最优功能。

然而,许多教师在课堂教学中,频繁地使用教学媒体,以机代人。

该用的地方使用,不该使用的地方也使用;该用的教具用,不该用的教具也“闪亮登场”。

结果,整节课鼓声、钟声、歌声、欢笑声与吵闹声不绝于耳,仿佛来到了金戈铁马,喊杀声一片的“古代战场”。

因此,高中英语课堂教学中滥用教学媒体和教具的现象,是当今从教者应该关注的问题之一。

三、只构“别墅”,不建“难民营”
这里的“别墅”指代班级中的优等生,“难民营”指代后进生。

我们承认“榜样的力量是无穷的”,优等生是班级学生的楷模,是引领班级前进的一股积极力量,教师重视对他们的培养本无可厚非。

但是,后进生与优等生一样有获得成功的愿望和潜能。

课堂上,教师应考虑到后进生实际情况而因材施教;生活与学习中,给予他们关爱和鼓励;心理上,培养他们自强不息,百折不挠的奋斗精神,使他们在学习上不断进步,追逐并且尽快赶上优等生。

然而,由于课堂教学时间有限,新教材教学任务繁重,加之应试教学思想等因素的影响,不少教师课堂上便以自我为中心,搞纯粹的个人才艺展示,忽略了教育是对绝大多数学生的培养,造成了许多可塑“资源”的白白浪费。

四、满堂问现象十分严重
提问的艺术表现在课堂上主要是合理运用设问,设问是启发式教学的重要方式之一。

合理使用设问,可以吸引学生的课堂注意力,并反馈教学效果,提高教学水平。

设问既源于教材又高于教材,它需要教师结合教材创造性地设问,有针对性地提问,引导学生寻找问题的答案。

如在对新教材的教学设计上,教师应针对教学的重点与难点设问,尽力创设语境,鼓励学生积极参与课堂活动,形成师生思维互动的局面;另外,教师应会问,并且问而有度,问时应做到典型、精确、灵活与巧妙。

如今的高中英语课堂上,有的教师满堂问、浮浅、简
单问和一节课反复不停地问,依靠问多而统领整节课,这种课堂教学方法给人的感觉是教师口若悬河,累得要命,而学生听得疲惫不堪,极度紧张,课堂教学并无新义,一问一哄,形式热闹,实则无效。

五、唯书而教,照本宣科
该现象主要表现在教师对待新教材单元材料的合理处理上,因为新教材突出的特点之一就是坚持听说领先的教学原则,教学内容更贴近现代生活,富有较强的时代气息,词汇量大,教学任务重,而且,每一个单元的教学任务编排打破了以往的对话课,阅读课,语法课及练习课等的固定课堂教学模式,在采用话题、功能、结构相结合的教学基础上,设计教学活动内容。

因此,不少英语教师对于新教材的课堂教学感到束手无策,不知道如何正确使用这套教材。

在没有新的、有效的课堂教学模式指导下,硬套用英语的“五步教学法”。

结果,在备课中只是重视了知识的学习与积累,不考虑学生与课堂教学的实际,自己课前没有充分备课,没有完全消化以后再创新的教学劳动过程,将新教材当作“圣书”来缴,教材上有什么就教什么,按部就班,照猫画虎,人云亦云,最终,教师教得费力,学生学习兴趣下降,课堂教学效果甚微。

六、“穿新鞋,走老路”,忽视教学效果
这也是一句老话了。

新课程标准的颁布,教学大纲的新规定,新教材的充分试用,无不标志着新一轮中学
英语教学界的有力变革,尤其是广大英语教师教学思想上的改变,他们勇于告别旧教材,大胆尝试,锐意进取,在对新教材的合理使用,对新教材课堂教学模式的研究上,创立了“任务型教学法”,“情景教学法”,“点拨、对话及互动课堂教学法”等一系列课改教研显著成果。

但是,从教学实际来看,有的教师认为课堂上学生能按部就班讲几句英语就有了英语交际能力,认为让学生多做几项课堂活动就体现了“以学生为主体”的教学思想,甚至,认为教师课堂上用满口流利的英语讲解一通之后学生就有了“英语能力”等等,这些都是片面的,错误的。

改革中的英语课堂教学既要体现教师依靠新的教学理论为指导思想,又要结合学生实际;既要钻研新教材,重视学生学习中的疑点、重点和难点,有的放矢,又需要教师创造性地劳动,活化教材,优化教学效果。

七、只重教法,忽略学法指导
新教材的使用,使有的教师片面注重教法,而忽略对学法的研究。

譬如大多数高中的学生对词汇的记忆依然是死记硬背,不懂得按照正确拼读音标的方法与相关的构词法知识去记忆,或者缺乏科学的学习方法,课前不会预习,对不懂的内容不做记号,或者课堂上根本就不知道听哪些内容,听什么,课后作业照抄等。

于是,前一节课学的到下一节课就忘了;今天学的到明天便忘了。

如果中学英语课堂上教师们既研究教材,认真备课,重视教法,又结合学生的实际情况,按照不同层次学生的个体差异,满足不同学习者的需要实施分层教学(将班级学生界定为优、中、差或A、B、C三个层次)。

那么,新教材下的高中英语课堂教学才会统一完整,才会取得最大的教学效果。

总之,课堂教学是一门艺术,反思问题是艺术中的艺术,它可以使从教者不断进步。

只有我们善于发现问题,分析问题,总结经验,才能吸取教训,发扬优点,光大我们的教学技艺,推动中学英语课堂教学改革的进一步深入发展。
