Book reportTitle:Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryAuthor:Roald DahlGenre:NovelPublish place and time:England 1964Summary:There was a boy named Charlie who lives with his parents and elderly grandparents in a small wooden house on the edge of a great town. Though he lives in this poor family, Charlie really had a happy time with his family. In this family, there wasn't enough money to buy proper food for them all and Charlie felt it worst of all. The one thing he longed for more than anything else was chocolate. The truth was that only once a year on his birthday did Charlie ever get to taste a bit of chocolate. The whole family save up their money for the special occasion. However, in the town itself, there was an enormous chocolate factory and it wasn't simply an ordinary enormous chocolate factory either. It was the largest and most famous in the whole world. It was Wonka's factory owned by a mam called Mr Willy Wonka, the greatest inventor and maker of chocolates that had ever been. But it was really a mysterious factory for the great irongates were locked and chained. Likewise,Mr Wonka was nowhere to be seen. Nobody's gone in and nobody ever came out either. One day, Mr Wonka announced a notice. He would invite five lucky children to get around his factory and they would have enough chocolate to eat. Five golden tickets had been printed on golden paper and these five golden tickets had been hidden under neath the ordinary wrapping paper of five ordinary bars of chocolate. The five lucky finders of these five golden tickets were the only ones who would be allowed to visit his factory and see what it was like noe inside. The world suddenly set off the purchase of Wonka chocolate. The lucky one after another appeared. The first golden ticket was found by Augustus Gloop who was a greedy boy and he ate so many bars of chocolate a day. The second golden ticket was found by a little girl called V eruca Salt who was spoiled by her parents. The third golden ticket was found by Violet Beauregarde who chew gum all day long. And the next golden ticket was found by Mike T eavee who did nothing but watched TV. Luckily, the last ticket was found by Charlie who was the hero. Visiting the chocolate factory was an unusual experience. There were green meadows on either side of the valley and along the bottom of it there flowed a great brown river. What's more, there was a waterfall halfway along the river. The secret of workers turned out to be Oompa-Loompa. They were wonderfulworkers. As they got around the factory, the other four child lost control. For all this, Charlie didn't loose of sense of excitement because of momentary. At last the most unbelievable thing happened. Charlie had become the final winner. Mr Wonka decided to give his factory to little Charlie.Review:After reading this novel, I have a very deep impression on Charlie and the chocolate factory. First of all, i am really satisfied with the end of the story. T o be honest ,it's absolutely a perfect ending with the outcome of the family. On one hand, Charlie was actually a very kind boy. Though he had a poor family which might not offer him enough food and delicious chocolate, he never showed any compliment about these, on the contrary, he loved his family deeply. On his birthday, he was willing to share his unique present-chocolate with his whole family. I am really moved by all of this he did. Meanwhile, now many children are quiet selfless and they will never be willing to share what they have owned with the other people including their family. They just cann't compare with the little hero Charlie. In the novel, the other four children are just not wonderful at all. They always carried with bad habits. What they could do were just eating all the time or attempted to get everything that they wanted from their parents. In my opinion , they were just too awful to live their precious childhood. On the other hand, I really have abeautiful fantasy about the mysterious chocolate factory. When I read this novel it really makes my mouth water. I think every reader will have the same idea with me if they loose themselves in reading this novel. At last, I just want to say it's definitely a wonderful story to express my love to this novel.。

查理和巧克力工厂读后感英语

查理和巧克力工厂读后感英语Reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is like embarking on a magical journey into the imaginative world of Roald Dahl. The story unfolds with the introduction of Charlie Bucket, a poor boy living in a small house with his parents and four grandparents. Despite their poverty, the Buckets are a loving family, and Charlie’s resilience and good nature shine through from the very beginning. The highlight of the story is, of course, the mysterious Willy Wonka and his equally mysterious chocolate factory. When Wonka announces that he will open his factory to a few lucky children who find golden tickets hidden in his chocolate bars, the entire world goes into a frenzy. As fate would have it, Charlie finds the last golden ticket, and he, along with Grandpa Joe, gets the chance to explore the wonders of the chocolate factory firsthand.Upon entering the factory, readers are treated to a spectacle of Willy Wonka's imagination brought to life. From the chocolate river to the inventing room filled with fantastical contraptions, Dahl’s vivid descriptions paint a picture of a place where anything is possible. Each room in the factory is more whimsical than the last, and it’s easy to get lost in the magic of it all. However, amidst the wonder and excitement, Dahl also weaves in important life lessons. Through the characters of the other children who accompany Charlie, such as the gluttonous Augustus Gloop and the spoiled Veruca Salt, Dahl subtly critiques the vices of greed, selfishness, and entitlement. Each child meets their own comeuppance as they succumb to their flaws, leaving Charlie as the true hero of the story, not because of his material wealth, but because of his integrity and kind heart. One of the most memorable aspects of the book is Dahl’s ability to create eccentric and unforgettable characters. Willy Wonka himself is a complex figure, at once charming and enigmatic, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. The Oompa-Loompas, the tiny workers who inhabit the factory, add another layer of intrigue with their catchy songs andpeculiar customs. Each character is carefully crafted to add depth and humor to the story, making it a delight to read from start to finish. As the story reaches its climax, Charlie faces a moral dilemma when offered a chance to inherit the factory. Despite the temptation of wealth and success, Charlie ultimately makes the selfless choice to return home to his family, proving that true happiness comes from love and contentment, rather than material possessions. In conclusion, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is a timeless classic that continues to captivate readers of all ages with its blend of imagination, humor, and heart. Through Dahl’s masterful storytelling, we are transported to a world where dreams come true and where the power of kindness and generosity triumphs over greed and selfishness. It is a story that reminds us of the importance of staying true to ourselves and cherishing the simple joys in life.。

查理巧克力工厂英语版读后感

查理巧克力工厂英语版读后感Here is an essay in English about the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with more than 600 words, without the title:The whimsical and captivating world of Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" has enchanted readers of all ages for generations. As I delved into this beloved classic, I was swept away by the vivid imagery, the endearing characters, and the timeless themes that permeate its pages. The story follows the journey of young Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted and impoverished boy who lives in a tiny house with his loving but financially-strained family. When the eccentric and reclusive Willy Wonka announces a contest to tour his mysterious chocolate factory, Charlie's life takes an unexpected turn. Along with four other lucky children, he wins the golden ticket that grants him access to the magical realm of Wonka's world. What unfolds within the confines of the chocolate factory is a delightful and often humorous exploration of the human condition. Each of the children represents a different vice or character flaw - the gluttonous Augustus Gloop, the spoiled Veruca Salt, the gum-chewing Violet Beauregarde, and the television-obsessed Mike Teavee. As they succumb to their respective temptations, they are met with darkly comedic fates, serving as cautionary tales for the reader. In contrast, Charlie Bucket emerges as the moral center of the story, a beacon of virtue in a world often consumed by greed and selfishness. His unwavering kindness, humility, and determination to do the right thing are constantly tested, yet he never wavers. This is perhaps what makes Charlie such a compelling and relatable protagonist - his struggles and triumphs reflect the universal human experience of navigating the complexities of life.Willy Wonka himself is a captivating and enigmatic figure, a master confectioner with a penchant for mischief and a seemingly boundless imagination. His whimsical factory, filled with enchanting inventions and peculiar creatures, is a manifestation of his creative genius. Yet, beneath the surface, Wonka's eccentricities and eclectic behavior hint at a deeper layer of complexity, a man who has retreated from the world in search of something more.As the story progresses, the reader is treated to a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and sensations, each one more fantastical and delightful than the last. From the chocolate river that flows through the factory to the Oompa Loompas, the diminutive workers who singcautionary tales, the world of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is a feast for the senses. But beyond the sheer entertainment value, Dahl's masterpiece also explores profound themes that resonate with readers of all ages. The tension between wealth and poverty, the dangers of excess and greed, and the importance of cherishing the simple joys in life are all woven seamlessly into the narrative. The book's enduring popularity is a testament to its ability to captivate the imagination while also imparting valuable life lessons. As I turned the final page of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," I was left with a profound sense of wonder and a renewed appreciation for the power of storytelling. Roald Dahl's timeless classic has the ability to transport readers to a world of pure imagination, where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur, and the extraordinary becomes the norm. It is a testament to the enduring magic of literature, a reminder that the most powerful stories are those that challenge us to see the world through new eyes and to embrace the endless possibilities that lie within.。

Book reportTitle:Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryAuthor:Roald DahlGenre:Novel Publish place and time:England 1964Summary:There was a boy named Charlie who lives with his parents and elderly grandparents in a small wooden house on the edge of a great town. But it was really a mysterious factory for the great iron gates were locked and chained. The second golden ticket was found by a little girl called Veruca Salt who was spoiled by her parents. The third golden ticket was found by Violet Beauregarde who chew gum all day long. And the next golden ticket was found by Mike Teavee who did nothing but watched TV. They were wonderful workers. As they gotaround the factory, the other four child lost control. For all this, Charlie didn't loose of sense of excitement because of momentary. At last the most unbelievable thing happened. Charlie had become the final winner. Mr Wonka decided to give his factory to little Charlie. Review:After reading this novel, I have a very deep impression on Charlie and the chocolate factory. First of all, i am really satisfied with the end of the story. To be honest ,it's absolutely a perfect ending with the outcome of the family. In myopinion , they were just too awful to live their precious childhood. On the other hand, I really have a beautiful fantasy about the mysterious chocolate factory. When I read this novel it really makes my mouth water. I think every reader will have the same idea with me if they loose themselves in reading this novel. At last, I just want to say it's definitely a wonderful story to express my love to this novel.。

The review of Charlie and chocolate factory《查理与巧克力工厂》英语影评

The review of Charlie and chocolate factoryIt is a truth universally acknowledged that children are the symbol of innocence. But, apparently, the director of the Charlie and chocolate factory doesn’t agree. There are five children in the film who have won the golden thickets which were offered by the owner of the largest chocolate factory in the world. The first kid is a gluttonous fat boy, who is always eating chocolate every time. The second is an emulative little girl. She has won many champions and never want to lose any game. The third girl is from a very rich family, whose father is a boss of a company. The forth is a little genius who is wallowed in those violent computer games. The last one, Charlie, the leading actor in this film, is just a normal boy, who is not faster, not stronger, or not more clever than other children, and his family is very poor. These children with one of their family members were invited to have a visit to that famous and mysterious chocolate factory, and one of them will got a special present at the end of the trip. The factory’s owner, Mr Willy Wonka, is an odd fish who can’t pronounce the word parents clearly and have a lot of strange but funny ideas. To some extent, he is a man who has the child’s heart and adult’s mind. During the trip of visit in the factory, the kids and their parents were punished in succession for their greed, gluttony, envy, willfulness, selfishness and so on. So, at the end of the trip, Charlie was the only child left still , without any punishment. Mr Willy Wonka praised him and he want to give Charlie the chocolate factory as a present ,but there still has a condition to be mentioned ,which goes that if Charlie want to take over the factory , he must leave his family and go alone. Now , there is a problem ,if you are Charlie ,which one will you choose , to go to the factory and to be rich or refuse the present and still live with the poor but warm family ? This is what the direct want to tell us. Nowadays, more and more people prefer to pursue the money and the power rather than cherish the love and dream. The first four children stand for the people in current society, Charlie stands for the people who are warmhearted, concerned, full of dream and love. In the film, Charlie’s family is not rich or powerful or even well connected, but Charlie still choose to stay with his family members and refuse to go to the factory alone. Maybe if such situation comes to us , most of us will hesitate to choose , but Charlie really understand that the love between family is the most valuable thing in the world , so he can make the decision without hesitation. In the film , there is a sharp contrast between Mr Willy Wonka and Charlie –Willy Wonk have the largest and the most famous chocolate factory in the world, but he is alone; however, Charlie has nothing but he has a warm family. So Charlie is the luckiest boy in the world.(from the film) Not for his lucky chance to get the golden ticket, but for his family. I still remember the screen that when Charlie got his birthday gift , a bar of chocolate which is produced by Willy Wonka’s factory, he opened the box and found no golden thicket, I thought maybe he is not delighted ,butwhen I saw he is sharing the chocolate with his family , I suddenly understand that he is the most happiest one in the world. He has a warm family , he loves them ,and they love him as well. The director think this is the greatest thing in the world, and I think so.Charlie and chocolate factory is like an allegory rather than a fairy tale. Love is the most important thing in our life, so we can’t neglect it to pursue material things such as money or power. From the film we can learn that we should regress to the life which is full of love and innocence.。

How to be a good parent
The poor Charlie and other four children visited the chocolate factory of Willy Wonka, this is what the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory saying about.
Mr.Wonka hide five gold paper in the Wonka chocolate’s wrapping paper, and the children of this world all had the chance to get the gold paper. If you got the gold paper you can visit the biggest chocolate factory—the chocolate factory of Willy Wonka, and one kid will get a grand prize. Charlie lived in a poor family, seven people live in a small, old, shabby house, but they lived together happily. And how about the other four children?
The first boy to get gold paper is Augustus Grupp. He is a fat boy, who eats candies all day. The greedy, stupid Augustus drunk lots of chocolate of the chocolate river, and he fell into the river. At last, the machines get him into the candy workshop.
The second child is Veruca Sault. Her family spoiled her, and she was arrogant. If her parents didn’t give her the things she wanted, she will cry and yell. In the nuts workshop, she tried to catch a squirrel that making nuts, but the squirrels dragged her into the dumping ground.
The third lucky child is Violet Beauregard, she likes to chew gums. Violet always wants to be the best, and she was very mean. At last, she swallowed a gum, and became a huge blueberry
The fourth child is a boy who named Mike Tavy. He always shows his clever, and he is very “brave”. His “brave”let him became a little people that look like the thumb.
And Charlie? He is the good boy of the five children. He is not mean, nor jealous, like to share with other. At last, he got the grand prize—the chocolate factory!
The children in the film are all have some problems except Charlie. This film asks us to think how to be a good parent. There are some suggestions:
Slow down.Babies and children live in a different time frame from adults' - usually a much slower one. Keep this in mind as you talk to your child, care for her and go about your day together.
2.Observe your child. You'll be amazed at how well you'll get to know your child by sitting back and watching. This focused awareness will help you better understand moods, abilities and temperament. Listening is important, too.
3.Stay optimistic. Optimism is contagious; so is negativity. Show your child through your behavior how to overcome minor setbacks. Children emulate their parents' attitudes and habits, so it will help if you have a positive outlook.
4.Accept and acknowledge your child's feelings and desires. Let her know it's OK if she feels sad, scared or angry. You can say, 'It looks like you're sad because your friend went home' or 'It seems that you're mad because I put the ball away.' 5.Tell your child your expectations. Children won't always comply right away, but they need to understand clearly what a parent expects: 'I want you to put on your sweater. We're going outside,' or 'I want your feet to stay off the couch.'
6.Set appropriate limits. Even when you acknowledge a feeling or desire, you must make a child aware of appropriate behavior and rules: 'I can see you're mad at your friend because he took the toy from you, but I won't let you hit him. Hitting is not something we do in our family. What else can you do?'
7.Wait. Let your child do as much as she can on her own - learn to walk, put on her socks, resolve conflicts with her friends. Anxiety or the desire to help often tempts parents to rush in and solve the problem for the child. A better response would be to wait and see what your child can manage on her own. She might surprise you.
8.Behave genuinely. Just as you accept your child's moods, though not always his behavior, it's OK to have a sad or angry thought yourself and express it appropriately: 'I'm really tired right now but I'm listening to you.' A parent's genuineness prepares a child for life.
9.Nurture yourself and your marriage.Make arrangements to have some guilt-free time to take care of your own needs. Plan a date with your partner and forget the kids for a while. You'll be a happier person and a better parent.
Do you want to be a good parent? Try to do your best to understand your children so that you can be a good parent.。
