Evidence for Centrifugal Barrier in X-ray Pulsar GRO J1744-28

所有入选病例均接受全身化疗,方案以EP方案为主。其中57例(77%) 接受胸部放疗,58例(78.4%)接受预防性颅脑照hylactic cranial irradiation,PCI)。通过统计治疗后总有效率(CR+PR)及生存率对所 选病例进行分析。[结果]疗效评价按实体肿瘤的疗效评价标准 (Response EvaluationCriteria In Solid Tumors RECISTl.1)标准进行。 手术组总有效率(CR+PR):96.8%。非手术组总有效率:93.0%。1、 2、3年生存率为93.2%、85.1%、63.5%。手术组与非手术组1、2、3年 生存率分别为93.54%、87.09%、77.41%,93.02%、83.72%、55.82%, 手术组内观察:pI期、pIIa期、pIIb期1、2、3年生存率分别为:100%、 90.90%、90.90%,100%、88.88%、88.88%,81.81%、63.63%、 54.54%。手术组与非手术组1、2年生存率无明显差异,3年生存率手术 组优于非手术组(P<0.05)。手术组内分析:pI期~pIIa期生存率无差 异,IIb期生存率明显降低。差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。[结论]在早 期小细胞肺癌患者治疗方案的选择中:单纯化、放疗相比,手术治疗联 合化疗或联合化疗+放疗的治疗手段,能明显延长小细胞肺癌患者生存 时间。肿瘤TN分期对早期小细胞肺癌的预后均有明显影响。

Although preventing SCLC metastasis to the brain is immensely important for survival, the molecular mechanisms of SCLC cells penetrating the blood-brain barrier (BBB) are largely unknown. Herein, we present evidence that elevated levels of visfatin in the serum of SCLC patients were associated with brain metastasis, and visfain was increased in NCI-H446 cells, a SCLC cell line, during interacting with human brain microvascular endothelial cells (HBMEC). Using in vitro BBB model, we found that visfatin could promote NCI-H446 cells migration across HBMEC monolayer, while the effect was inhibited by knockdown of visfatin. Furthermore, our findings indicated that CC chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2) was involved in visfatin-mediated NCI-H446 cells transendothelial migtation. Results also showed that the upregulation of CCL2 in the co-culture system was reversed by blockade of visfatin. In particular, visfatin-induced CCL2 was attenuated by specific inhibitor of PI3K/Akt signaling in NCI-H446 cells. Taken together, we demonstrated that visfatin was a prospective target for SCLC metastasis to brain, and understanding the molecular mediators would lead to effective strategies for inhibition of SCLC brain metastasis.

分析检测UPLC-MS/MS法检测草鱼中恩诺沙星残留量的不确定度评估李 娇1,罗景阳1,李巧莲1,王岩松1,陈 娇1,宣 彤2(1.沈阳市食品药品检验所,辽宁沈阳 110122;2.沈阳医学院公共卫生学院,辽宁沈阳 110034)摘 要:目的:评估超高效液相色谱-串联质谱(Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry,UPLC-MS/MS)法检测草鱼中恩诺沙星残留量的不确定度。
方法:依据《测量不确定度评定与表示(含第1号修改单)》(JJF 1059.1—2012)、《测量不确定度要求的实施指南》(CNAS-GL05—2011)、《化学分析中不确定度的评估指南》(CNAS-GL006:2019),对草肉中恩诺沙星的残留量进行不确定度评估分析。
结果:当草鱼中恩诺沙星的残留量为183 µg·kg-1时,其扩展不确定度为12 µg·kg-1 (k=2),不确定度主要来源于体积不确定度、UPLC-MS/MS仪器的不确定度。
结论:提高检验人员的实验操作能力,定期校准UPLC-MS/MS仪,可提高检测结果的准确性。

Method: According to relevant standards such as JJF 1059.1—2012, CNAS-GL05—2011 and CNAS-GL006: 2019, the uncertainty for the determination of enrofloxacin in Ctenopharyngodon idella by UPLC-MS/MS was established. Result: When the content of enrofloxacin in Ctenopharyngodon idella was 183 µg·kg-1, the expanded uncertainty was 12 µg·kg-1 (k=2). The uncertainty mainly comes from volume uncertainty and UPLC-MS/MS instrument generated by the uncertainty. An important contribution to operational reliability may be provided by the integration of the com-pressor controls into the pro-cess control and monitoring system used by the customer.T echnical description:Centrifugal compressors are fluid flow engines, which convert kinetic energy into an increase of the pressure of the gas. Compared to our typical radial blowers theconditions of each applica-tion the various components of our centrifugal compres-sors are carefully selected from case to case.The geometry of the im-peller, diffuser and casing is calculated and optimized with respect to the aero-dynamic laws. The various operating conditions are achieved either by adjusta-ble flow controllers or by frequency converters.Based on the operational parameters the appropriate sealing concept of our centri-fugal compressors is selected.Same principal applies to the instrumentation and control system, which addi-tionally to the controlling and monitoring of the FIMA centrifugal compressor also guarantees the controlled shut down in case of any emergency.tip speed and rotational speed of our centrifugal compressors is significantly higher as a result of the re-quired increased differential pressure. Therefore, single stage gears are widely used,which are designed inaccordance with the maxi-mum loads which are ex-pected during operation. An integrated oil system guar-antees the required pressure oil lubrication. In order to meet the requirements andAdjustable flow controllers allow the adaptation of the flow rate according to the specific requirements which also guarantees the econo-mical and efficient operation in the part-load range.Flow controllers are either inlet guide vanes located up-stream of the centrifugalcompressor or adjustable dif-fusers located down-stream depending on the application.The combination of bothshifts the surge point to even lower flow rates and, thus,extends the operating range of the FIMA centrifugal com-pressor.The proven and testedFIMA turbo labyrinth seal is our standard and with it’s modular design it can be easily adapted to the various requirements. In case ofsuperior requisitions concern -ing the tightness, mechani-cal seals from the leading European manufacturers are available such as the single self-lubricating type ordouble or tandem types with barrier gas supply. Both, the FIMA turbo labyrinth seals and the mechanical seals offer superior operational re-liability and minimized wear as well as reduced mainte-nance expenses.In FIMA centrifugal compres-sors the shaft seal is desig-ned as an interchangeable component which allows to use the appropriate sealing concept for each application.Predominantly, casing and impeller of FIMA centrifugal compressors are of welded design which allows a high flexibility in terms of material selection and of material combination. Highly stressed impellers running with tip speeds up to 400 m/s (80,000 ft/min) are cut from the solid block. The thrust is transmitted along the shafting to the thrust block and finally to ship structure.5. Generally, when the ship is sailing at sea speed, it has four engines running, while it approaches the wharf, it has two in running. 6. (See Fig. 2-5)The structure of the main engine is as follows:(1) the construction mainly includes bedplate, frame, cylinders, pistons, connecting rod, main bearing and crankshaft.(2) The crankshaft rests in main bearings built into cross girdersof the bedplate. The bedplate, frames and cylinder blocks are secured together by longtie-rods.(3) A piston consists of a lower part called piston skirt and an upper part called piston crown.7. (See Fig. 2-9)Oil purifiers are used on board ship to treat fuel oil andlubricating oil. The oil to be purified is first allowed to settle in a settling tank. Any large particles will settle out and can be drained every watch. After the oil has time to settle, it is passed through fine meshed wire filters to remove any coarse particles(油经过沉淀后,再通过细滤器去除大颗粒杂质). The oil is then sent to the oilpurifier.An oil purifier uses centrifugal force for separating dirt or water from oil. Oil to be purified is allowed to enter the bowl while it is rotating. The heavier components in the oil are thus forced outwards. The solid particles that are too fine to be removed by filtration are forced towards the circumference of the bowl. ( Oil purifiers usually maintain a layer of water inside the bowl to act as a seal for the oil. Without the water layer to act as seal, the oil can flow out together with the particles and be lost. This ring is known as dam ring or gravity disc.The most common designs have conical plates toensure the particles to clump together. The larger particles formed will weigh more and more and are able to be separated from the oil easier.)12. Talk about the working principle of oily water separator according to the picture given. (See Fig. 2-10)The oily water separator works on the principle of coalescing small oil droplets (聚结小油滴)in the water to form larger oil drops. When the oil drops becomes large enough, the lower density oil drops floats up and collects at the top of the vessel. The water remains at the lower portion and is pumped overboard. The oil layer is pumped into an oily bilge tank, which can be pumped out at an oil collecting facility when the ship arrives at a port.The separator consists of a vertical cylindrical pressure vessel (垂直的圆柱形压力容器)containing a number of inverted conical plates(反向的锥形板). The oily waterenters the separator in the upper half of the unit and is directed downwards to the conical plates. They should be used in conjunction with some forms of filters if greater purity is required. (2)The incinerators are used to burn the solid waste.(3)And some biological sewage treatment plants are in use at sea to treat the sewage water the whole ship produced. All these equipment perform their duties to prevent pollutions from ship to the sea. (And we must take great care about them to meet the latest legislative requirements.) 14. T alk about the operation of the ballast system.(1)The ballast system is arranged to ensure that water can be drawn from any tank or the sea and discharged to any other tank or the sea asrequired to trim the vessel. Combine or separate mains for suction and discharge may be provided. Where a tank or cargo space can be used for ballast or dry cargo then either a ballast or bilge connection will be required. (2)The system must therefore be arranged so that only the appropriate pipeline is in service; the other must be securelyblanked(安全隔离) or closed off. The automatic filling of any tank may be obtained by opening the valve of sea water main connected to the discharge main. For operating the ballast system, care must taken when we open or close the relative valves. Usually the ballast pump is centrifugal pump, so it must be operated according to the requirement.15. Talk about the operation of the bilge system.(The operation of the bilge system is an import routine work, which needs great carefulness. When it is needed, the following procedure must be strictly observed:)1) Discharge the bilge tanks one by one.2) Open and close the relevant valves when changing over to another tank according to the operation procedure.3) Stop pumping out when the bilge tank is nearly empty.4) Pay attention to the filters and mud-boxes(油泥箱) to ensure no clogging5) The discharge must meet the relative legislative requirements.6) The operation must be recorded and reported to C/E.( The duty engineer should discharge the bilges before handing overa watch. Communications with officers.In order to ensure the safe navigation of the ship, frequent communication between the engineers and officers is necessary. The usual means of communication is by telephone and telegraph. If the communication between the engine room andthe bridge fails, the shipwill be endangered. The records of communication should be maintained which will provide evidence in the event of an accident at sea. Noon report is also a good means of communication between the engine room and the bridge. 2. Noon report.Noon report must be recorded every day. It is a table with three columns in it. The first one is about the daily performance data; There are six lines in the first columns, some of the data of main engine running, ship and voyage are to be entered here, such as the total revolutions and average rpm of M.E. between noons; the speed of the ship; the distance the ship has made and the distance still remains to thenext port of call; and of course the ETA which can be calculated according to the present speed and situations. The second one is about the remarks from chief engineer if he has any; and the third is the log of working hours of the main engine and auxiliary engines. 3. Take over watch.Before taking over an engineering watch, the relieving engineer should check various things.(1)He should read the standing orders and special instructions ofthe chief engineer. (2)He should be aware of all work being performed on machinery and systems. (3)He should check the level and condition of fuel, water or residues in tanks and bilges.(4)He should know the condition and mode of operation of the main and auxiliary systems (5)He should also check other necessary things.4. Hand over watch.At the completion of the watch, each member of watch-keeping should hand over to his relief, ensuring that the relief is competent to take over and carry out his duties effectively. Before going off duty, the engineer in charge of the watch shall ensure that all events related to the main and auxiliary machinery are suitably recorded. He should tell the relieving engineer the standing orders, special instructions and unfinished work, if any. If he has any reason to believe that the relieving engineer is not capable of carrying out the watch-keeping duties effectively, he shall not hand over the watch and the chief engineer shall be notified.5. Standby engine before departure.When standing-by engine for sailing, we should do various things.(1)We should check various systems and parts of the main engine.We should warm up the main engine.We should engage the turning gear and give the engine at least one complete turn. (2)After informing the bridge, we will give the main engine a brief trial on power ahead and astern.Finally, we will ring “stand-by” on the engine telegraph.6. 研学旅行去科学博物馆的英语作文A Wondrous Adventure at the Science MuseumI had been looking forward to our class field trip to the science museum for weeks! The day finally arrived, and I could barely contain my excitement as we boarded the big yellow school bus. My best friend Jacob and I raced to get seats at the back - the coveted "cool" spot for kids our age.After what felt like an eternity of bouncing up and down on the bus ride, we finally arrived. The museum was an enormous white building with a giant model of a DNA double helix sculpture twisting up toward the sky out front. Just the exterior made it look like the coolest place on Earth!We hurried off the bus, forming a line behind Mrs. Robertson, our teacher. She reminded us to stay together and be on our best behavior. Yeah, yeah, we all knew the drill. I could hardly hear her though, I was so eager to go explore!As we entered through the main doors, my jaw dropped. The entrance hall was cavernous, with soaring ceilings and massive multi-story exhibits visible through archways on all sides. There were full-sized model dinosaur skeletons, a replica mercuryspacesuit, and a huge suspended model of the Earth hanging from above. This place was incredible!Mrs. Robertson's voice cut through my amazement, assigning us to groups to stay with our chaperone parents. I stuck close to my mom, not wanting to miss a single thing. Our first stop was an exhibit all about the human body.We saw a real preserved brain and learned about all the different regions and their functions. There were interactive displays where you could pump a model heart, watch 3D animations show how your lungs inflate and deflate, and even a larger-than-life model showing the twists and turns of the digestive system from mouth to stomach to intestines. I never realized how bizarre and fascinating our own bodies are!Next up was the physics section, where we got to experiment with levers, pulleys, rolling balls down ramps, and other ways to experience the laws of motion firsthand. Jacob and I had a blast taking turns launching mini cars down different types of tracks to see which went faster or farther. We ran back and forth between the different exhibits, marveling at centrifugal force, inertia, and more. Who knew science could be so fun?The computer science area was another highlight. We got to code simple programs to animate stories, solve logic puzzles,and even try out some basic robots. I could have spent all day just tinkering with that stuff! I already can't wait to take a computer programming class when I'm older.But of course, my favorite area was the space exhibit. Mocked-up spacecraft cockpits let us experience what it's like for astronauts during launch. Immersive video screens simulated leaving Earth's atmosphere as if we were really there. I even got to try on a space suit just like the ones astronauts wear for spacewalks!The museum had an actual rocket hanging from the ceiling, and along the walls were tons of real artifacts from famous space missions - tattered Navy parachutes that drifted spacecrafts back to Earth after splashdown, the scorched and sooty remains of heat shield tiles that allowed vehicles to survive the intense temperatures upon re-entry, and even one of just three remaining moon rocks on public display anywhere in the world that was brought back by the Apollo astronauts. I felt like I was surrounded by the real-life coolest pieces of space history!We took a quick break for lunch in the museum's cafeteria, which had all kinds of healthy foods shaped like atoms, planets, and telescopes. Jacob admitted to me that his favorite was stillthe "Unidentified Frying Object" chicken nuggets though - some things never change!After refueling, we headed to the nature and biology halls. One section recreated an indoor rainforest environment with a winding path, soaring trees, thick vegetation, and humid mists swirling through the air. I spotted all kinds of live reptiles, insects, and fish native to the Amazon basin. An enormous snake was coiled up behind a glass barrier, prompting a few shrieks from some of the girls in our class. I thought it was awesome!My friend Lily, who wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up, was in her glory at the aquarium area. We watched scuba-suited divers hand-feed sharks, rays, and other fish from inside a gigantic tank filled with thousands of gallons of water. So many bright colors of coral and seemingly infinite schools of tropical fish surrounded them on all sides. Another enclosed area let us safely walk through an underwater tunnel with the aquarium forming a ceiling and walls around us, like we were actually exploring the depths of the ocean floor. We combined different household ingredients to create smallexplosions, oozing colors, and bubbling reactions. It totally reinforced why you always have to be so careful whenever handling chemicals!We wrapped up by walking through a section on planet Earth and the environment. There were towering dioramas and models showing everything from tornadoes and lightning storms to icebergs and volcanic eruptions. We learned about conservation, recycling, and sustainability in a really engaging way.I left the museum that day with my brain overflowing. I had consumed so much new information and had been exposed to so many fascinating areas of science. What had once felt like an intimidating array of complicated topics had been broken down in a way that felt inspiring and ignited my curiosity about the world around me.I knew that trip was just the start of my journey into the limitless frontiers of scientific exploration. a r X i v :a s t r o -p h /9712175v 1 13 D e c 1997Evidence for Centrifugal Barrier in X-ray Pulsar GRO J1744-28Wei Cui ∗∗Center for Space Research,Room 37-571,MIT,Cambridge,MA 02139Abstract.We present further observational evidence of the effects of a centrifugal barrier in GRO J1744-28,based on continued monitoring of the source with RXTE.INTRODUCTION The magnetosphere of an accreting X-ray pulsar expands as the mass accretion rate decreases.As it grows beyond the co-rotation radius,centrifugal force prevents material from entering it.Thus,accretion onto the magnetic poles ceases,and,con-sequently,X–ray pulsations cease.This phenomenon has recently been observed,for the first time,in GX 1+4and GRO J1744-28with RXTE [1].Here,we present further evidence to show that the phenomenon repeated itself for GRO J1744-28during the decaying phase of its latest X-ray outburst.OBSER V ATIONS AND RESULTS The ASM light curve (as shown in the top panel of Fig.1)reveals that there have been two episodes of X-ray outburst in GRO J1744-28,separated by roughly one year.The source has been extensively monitored by the main instruments aboardRXTE since its discovery [2].For detailed analyses,we have selected a number of PCA observations,based on the ASM light curve,to cover the decay phase of the outbursts.Fig.1(bottom panel)shows the pulsed fraction (≡(f max −f min )/f max )measured with each observation.For comparison,the published results [1]for the first outburst are also presented here.A striking feature is the precipitous drop of the pulsed fraction as the source became “quiescent”both times.GRO J1744-28was generally not so quiet after the first outburst.In previous work [1],we happened to catch a brief period (as indicated in Fig.1)when the pulsed emission became very weak or was not detected at all in some observations.Following the latest ourburst,the source has shown little activity.Its presence (at about 20-30mCrab)has,however,been firmly established by the PCA slew data.This provides a good opportunity to verify our previous interpretation of theFIGURE1.(top)ASM light curve.The dotted lines indicate the start(or end)of the“qui-escent”state,and the tick marks indicated the times when the selected PCA observations were made.The arrow marks roughly when the pulsation became undetectable following the latest outburst.(bottom)Measured pulsed fraction(as defined in the text).phenomenon.We have searched for the known2.14Hz pulse frequency,employing various techniques including FFTs and epoch-folding,but have failed to detect it since the end of June1997(as marked in Fig.1).The results therefore argue strongly that the centrifugal barrier is active in this source during such faint period, as we have concluded previously[1].The source also shows interesting spectral evolution during the decay.The ob-served X-ray spectrum can be characterized by a simple power law with an ex-ponential high-energy cutoff.As the quiescent state is approached,the spectrum softens significantly:the power-law becomes steeper,and more prominently,the cutoffenergy decreases by roughly a factor of2(see Fig.2).At the end of thefirst “quiescent”period,the spectrum would recover to the bright-state shape.We have proposed before that the X-ray emission probably consists of two components:the emission from a large portion of the neutron star surface(thus unpulsed),due to the “leakage betweenfield lines”[3],and that from“hot spots”near the poles(pulsed plus unpulsed).When the source was bright,the latter dominated,so the spectrum was hard(corresponding to a much higher temperature of the hot spots).However, as soon as the centrifugal barrier took effect in the quiescent state,the observed X-rays were all due to the surface emission and their spectrum was therefore softer.
