Purpose：To enable Ss to say something about their favorite newspapers and magazines．1．Ask Ss to work in pairs and discuss their favorite magazines or newspapers．2．Choose some Ss to present their opinions．
Step 3．Writing
Purpose：To enable Ss to learn how to write a piece of news．
1．Group work
Ask Ss to finish the Activity 18 on P96．Let them know how to expand the headlines．Suggested Answers：
