In the summer holiday following my birthday, I took driving lessons. I st ill remember how hard first day was. Before getting into the car, I thou ght I had learned the instructor’s orders, once I started the car, my mind blank. I forgot what he had said to me altogether. The instructo r kept repeating the, “Speed up!” “Slow down!” &#8220 ; left!” I was so nervous that I could hardly tell which direction was left. A few minutes, the instructor asked me to stop the car. It was a relief and I came to a stop just in the middle the road.

Dear _____,
I’d like to invite you to join us for a visit to the nearby nursing home next Saturday for the Double Ninth Festival. It is the day for the elderly in our culture. We will go and make dumplings and cakes with the elderly people there. We will also spend some fun time together singing, dancing and playing games, which we hope will make them happy. We should be back around 4 o’ clock in the afternoon. If you are able to e with us, please tell us know and we will wait for you at school gate at 9 in the morning.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua。
