英语六年级下册作文unit一和unit二Unit One: My weekend
Last weekend, I had a very busy but enjoyable time. On Saturday morning, I went to the park with my family. We had a picnic and played some games. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we spent a lot of time outside. In the afternoon, we went to the zoo and saw all the different animals. My favorite was the monkeys - they were so funny!
On Sunday, I had a soccer game in the morning. My team won, and I scored a goal! After the game, my friends came over to my house for a barbecue. We had burgers, hotdogs, and lots of snacks. We played games in the backyard and had a great time. In the evening, I watched a movie with my family before going to bed.
I had a wonderful weekend and I can't wait for the next one!
Unit Two: My favorite hobby
My favorite hobby is painting. I have loved painting since I was very young. I enjoy expressing myself through art and creating beautiful pictures. I usually paint with watercolors or acrylics, and sometimes I even try my hand at oil painting.
I have a small studio in my room where I keep all my painting supplies. I have a range of brushes, paints, and canvases to work with. I like to experiment with different techniques and styles, and I am always practicing to improve my skills.
When I am painting, I feel calm and peaceful. It is a great way for me to relax and unwind after a busy day. I often listen to music while I paint, which helps me to focus and be creative. I have painted many different things, from landscapes to portraits to abstract art.
I have even entered some of my paintings into local art competitions and won prizes! Painting is something that brings me joy and I will continue to do it for many years to come.。
