摘要：PURPOSE:To perform the diagnosis of a large-scale system at a high speed and to attain a proper and safe countermeasure by peforming the proper diagnosis after listing the probabilities of factors for a final action or sign. CONSTITUTION:An automatic data collection system 33 searches each data collection terminal for every fixed period of time and collects the plant data. These collected data are compared with a threshold table for each data and sorted in each category. The sorted data are written into a data base 32 with addition of sign name pointers. An interpreter 31 compares the sign name and category of the written data wish the conditional part of a result-factor rule 302. If the coincidence is obtained from said comparison, a pair of factor and possible numerical value is written to the base 32 together with a reasoned sign name. Then the rule within a factor presumption rule group 303 is applied to the data. Then an inquiry is given to an operator for the assumption having its possible numerical value larger than the threshold value as well as the assumption which may possibly causes a fatal factor with positive possible numerical value.
