展示图片:Last class we learned: How to choose the best movie theater? → This class we will learn: How to choose the best place in our daily life?
ⅡReview some words.
Show some words, ask Ss to read together, and ask Ss to spell them. Ⅲ Listening and speaking
Step1 Work on 2a:
1. Read the questions and answers in 2a.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the boy’s answers.
3. Play the recording again to check the answers.
Step2 Work on 2b:
1. Let Ss read the sentences.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to write the correct store or radio station next to each statement.
3. Play the recording again to check the answers.
Step3 Speaking
ⅰ T: tell your friends what the boy think of the stores and radio stations. Use the information in 2b.
Eg. S1: The boy thinks Miller’s is the best. S2: Blue Moon is the most expensive. S3…
ⅱ Pair-work
1. Tell Ss Student A is the reporter. Student B is the boy. Role-play the conversation .
2. Let Ss read conversation after the teacher.
3. Explain some main points for the Ss.
4. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
