英文班级趣事作文

As a student in an English class, I have had my fair share of interesting moments. One particular incident that stands out to me was when we were learning about idioms and their meanings.
Our teacher gave us a list of idioms and asked us to guess their meanings. One of the idioms was "the ball is in your court." I immediately knew the meaning and raised my hand to answer. However, before I could say anything, another student shouted out, "It means you have to play basketball!" Everyone burst out laughing, including the teacher.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the student's response. It was clear that he had misunderstood the idiom, but his answer was so unexpected and funny. From that moment on, whenever we were learning about idioms, the class would
joke about playing basketball.

作为一名英语班的学生，我经历了不少有趣的时刻。
