随堂精讲 1.be supposed to be supposed to do sth.被期望做某事,应该做某事。be supposed to…的主语是 “人”时,意为“应该……,被期望……”,相当于情态动词 should 或 ought to, be supposed to…的主语是“物”时,意为“本应……,本该……”,用来表示 “某事本应该发生而没有发生”。其否定形式 be not supposed to do sth.。 2.as soon as 意为“一……就”,引导时间状语从句。当主句用将来时时,从句用一般现在 时,即“主将从现”原则;当主句用过去将来时时,从句用一般过去时。 3.drop by drop by 表示“顺便/偶然拜访”,相当于 come over to 和 drop in。drop by 后接地 点或直接用于句中。“drop in at+地点”意为“顺便拜访某地”,drop in on sb. 意为“顺便拜访某人”。
