The first period
Teaching aims:
1. Improve the students’listening and speaking skills in c ommunicating with others.
2. Lead the students to know more about American culture. Teaching key points:
1.To master the sentences: Merry Christmas! How beautiful!
2.And to master the new words: Father Christmas、turkey、singer
Teaching aids：
1.Flash cards of new words.
2.The PPT and the listening material
3.Some small gifts. Teaching steps:
Step1 Warm-up/Revision
1.The teacher shows the flash cards of the words to review.
2.Play a game: Listen and do.
The teacher put some cards on the teacher’s desk and ask one student to look and act. Let other students guess.
设计意图：通过趣味卡片复习旧知识，为学习新知识做好铺垫，听做游戏运用TPR教学法充分调动学生的积极性。
