英语日记初一简单
My First Day of Junior High School
Today is my first day of junior high school, and I am filled with excitement and nervousness. As I enter the school gate, I am greeted by a bustling crowd of students. The campus is much bigger than my previous school, and it feels like a completely new world to me.
In the morning, we have an opening ceremony in the school auditorium. The principal gives a speech, welcoming us to the new school and encouraging us to study hard and make the most of our time here. The atmosphere is charged with anticipation and motivation.
After the ceremony, I meet my classmates and homeroom teacher. We are assigned to different classrooms, and I am relieved to find that some of my friends from elementary school are in the same class as me. Our homeroom teacher is friendly and approachable, which immediately puts us at ease. She introduces herself and explains the class rules and expectations.
The first subject of the day is English. Our English teacher
gives a brief introduction about herself and asks us to introduce ourselves as well. It's a great opportunity for all of us to get to know each other better. She then starts the lesson with a fun icebreaker activity, which helps us to relax and break the ice.
During the day, we have various subjects such as math, science, history, and physical education. Each teacher has their unique teaching style, and I find myself enjoying some subjects more than others. The teachers are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, which makes the learning experience enjoyable.
During lunch break, I explore the school canteen and find a wide variety of food options. I decide to try the school's famous noodles, and they turn out to be delicious. The canteen is crowded with students chatting and enjoying their meals, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we have extracurricular activities. I join the basketball club as I have always been interested in the sport. The coach is patient and encourages us to do our best. Although I am not very skilled, I am determined to improve
and learn from my teammates.
At the end of the day, I feel tired but happy. It has been a whirlwind of new experiences and meeting new people. As I walk out of the school gate, I can't help but feel grateful for this opportunity to grow and learn in my new school.
Overall, my first day of junior high school has been a memorable and exciting experience. I am looking forward to the upcoming days, where I will continue to learn, make friends, and discover new interests. Junior high school is a new chapter in my life, and I am ready to embrace all the challenges and opportunities it brings.。
