for their students, not to inflict harm upon them.
Research has shown that corporal punishment is not an effective means of behavior modification. In fact, it can lead to increased aggression and antisocial behavior in students, as well as lower academic achievement.
Children have the right to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their behavior. Using physical punishment undermines this fundamental right and sets a harmful example for how conflicts should be resolved.。
