The Great Wall of China is one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. As a Chinese person, I have been to the Great Wall many times and each time, I am still amazed by its grandeur and beauty. The Great Wall stretches over 13,000 miles across China and was built over 2,000 years ago. It was originally built as a defense system to protect China from invading armies.
One of my favorite parts of the Great Wall is the Mutianyu section. It is less crowded than other sections and has some of the best scenery. The Mutianyu section also has some steep and challenging parts which make it more exciting to climb. Another section that I love is the Jiankou section. It is known for its beautiful scenery and is a popular spot for photographers. However, it is also one of the most dangerous sections due to its steepness and lack of renovations.
Climbing the Great Wall is not an easy task. It requires physical strength and endurance, but the reward is worth it. The feeling of accomplishment when you reach the top is indescribable. It is also a great opportunity to learn about Chinese history and culture. The Great Wall is not just a wall, it is a symbol of China's resilience and determination.
