2、能听懂、会说、认读、运用Happy birthday. Open the present, please. Make a wish. Let’s sing the birthday song. Say cheese.等语句进行简单的生日聚会上的语言交际。

(二)Presentation
1、课文导入:We know that Wang Hong’s birthday is October 7. So she’s having her birthday party now. Let’s go and see.
2、Dialogue.
(1)播放教学光盘,整体感知课文,在书上划出新单词。

(2)学生说出新单词在第几幅图的第几行上并拼出单词:present, open, wish, song, say cheese.教师逐一出示单词卡片,板书并教授读音。

分音节教学“present”,再升降调领读、开火车读,并启发学生自主读出其复数形式“presents”;教学“open”时教师先口型示范发音,并用肢体动作使学生理解其意义,再跟读、开火车读、男女读;以旧带新fish—wish,学生可自主读出,培养了学生自主学习的能力。

教师再借助肢体动作扩展出短语“make a wish”;因四年级时学生已接触过单词“song”,因此,教师只需反复摆口型示范发音并提醒学生注意字母组合“ong”的发音要领及发音部位即可。

再由“song”扩展到短语“sing a song”,强调“song”与“sing”除了词形上的差别外,词性上也不同;最后教师借助肢体动作教学短语“say cheese”,提醒学生注意“cheese”中字母“s”发音要准确。

(3)听录音看课文。

之后教师问学生“What do we usually say at the birthday party?”引导学生说出生日聚会上常用的交际语,教师板书。

师生齐读板书上的句子。

(4)听音跟读。

学生逐句跟读,在跟读中培养朗读习惯,训练朗读技巧,模仿语音语调。

(三)Practice.
1、教师快速闪现词语条(英汉两面),学生快速读说出词语。

2、Let’s talk.“I’m the birthday boy/ girl.(我是小寿星)”我将课本Let’s talk.部分进行了一下拓展。

学生先两人一组展开任务型问答交际活动,再抽几对学生到台前进行情景表演。

【设计意图】运用是学习英语的最终目的。

为此,我给学生创设了真实的生活情境,使学生在具体语境中自然地运用所学进行交际,达到学以致用的目的。

(四)Production.
1、Learn to sing the birthday song.
2、Let’s do.(学生拿出课前画好的父亲或母亲生日那天自己打算从事的活动图片)
教师与一优生做活动示范:
T: When is your mother’s/ father’s birthday?
What will you do on her/ his birthday?
S: My mother’s birthday is in …. On her birthday, I will …. (1)请学生四人一组交流一下;
(2)三名学生台前投影展示、介绍。

【设计意图】通过活动培养了学生在真实的情境中运用语言进行交流的能力,提高了学生合作学习的能力,体现了语用生活化的原则。

(五) Summary.
教师引导学生结合板书归纳本节课所学内容。

(六) Homework.
1、听课文录音,模仿跟读课文。

2、自制家庭成员生日榜单,并谈谈自己在他们生日那天的活动打算。
