2、拿到试卷不要提笔就写,先大致的浏览一遍,有多少大题,每个大题里有几个小题,有什么题型,哪些容易,哪些难,做到心里有底;
3、审题,每个题目都要多读几遍,不仅要读大题,还要读小题,不放过每一个字,遇到暂时弄不懂题意的题目,手指点读,多读几遍题目,就能理解题意了;容易混乱的地方也应该多读几遍,比如从小到大,从左到右这样的题;
4、每个题目做完了以后,把自己的手从试卷上完全移开,好好的看看有没有被自己的手臂挡住而遗漏的题;试卷第1页和第2页上下衔接的地方一定要注意,仔细看看有没有遗漏的小题;
5、中途遇到真的解决不了的难题,注意安排好时间,先把后面会做的做完,再来重新读题,结合平时课堂上所学的知识,解答难题;一定要镇定,不能因此慌了手脚,影响下面的答题;
6、卷面要清洁,字迹要清工整,非常重要;

As you probably know, every year, young songwriters from our town enter our annual spring competition held here in the beautiful Brook Theater. When local musician Fred McGill started the event four years ago, we had no idea how much it would grow. In 2017, over 100 people sent in their songs. This year the number of people who participated doubled. It’s wonderful to see the talent and energy of the next generation. Our judges were amazed by the musical skills they saw and heard. Congratulations to all the teenagers who sent in their songs. It was a difficult choice, but our committee has made a selection. Let’s clap our hands for Maryanne James! Maryanne, where are you? Please join me on stage! There she is! Maryanne, we loved the way you sang about everything from the colors of your garden to the eyes of children. Please accept this prize. Their man-servant had been sent one morning to Exeter on business, and when he waited at table, he began to chat with his mistress(女主人).
“I suppose you know, ma’am, that Mr. Ferrars is married?”
Marianne gave a violent start, fixed her eyes upon Elinor, saw her turning pale, fell back in her chair and lost control of her emotions. Mrs. Dashwood was shocked to realize by Elinor’s expression how much she really suffered.
Mrs. Dashwood immediately took all that trouble on herself, and Elinor had the benefit of the information without the effort of seeking it.
“Who told you that Mr. Ferrars was married, Thomas?”
“I see Mr. Ferrars myself, ma’am, this morning in Exeter, and his lady too, Miss Steele as was. They were stopping in a chaise(马车)at the door of the New London Inn, and she knew me and called to me, and inquired after you, ma’am, and the young ladies, especially Miss Marianne.”
“But did she tell you she was married, Thomas?”
“Yes, ma’am.” She smiled, and said how she had changed her name since she was in these parts.
“Was Mr. Ferrars in the carriage with her?”
“Yes, ma’am, I just see him leaning back in it, but he did not look up: he never was a gentleman much for talking.”
Elinor’s heart could easily account for his not putting himself forward, and Mrs. Dashwood probably found the same explanation.
“Was there no one else in the carriage?” “No, ma’am, only they two.”
“Do you know where they came from?”
“They come straight from town, as Miss Steele -- Mrs. Ferrars told me.” “And are they going farther westward?”
“Yes, ma’am, but they will soon be back again, and then they’d be sure and call here.”
Thomas’s intelligence seemed over. Elinor looked as if she wished to hear more. Mrs. Dashwood could think of no other question, and Thomas and the tablecloth, were soon afterwards dismissed. Mrs. Dashwood’s and Elinor’s appetites(胃口)were completely lost. They remained long together in a similarity of thoughtfulness and silence.
24. What’s Elinor’s reaction at the news from the man-servant?
A. She expressed mixed emotions.

A study by Harvard researchers found that mind wandering, or daydreaming, consumes an average of 47% of
peoples’ waking hours. This brings about the question:If mind wandering is so costly to our well-being, then why in the world are we so willing to spend nearly half of our lives in this mental state?
Creative thinkers know, despite what their parents, teachers and school leaders might have told them, that daydreaming is hardly a waste of time. But unfortunately, many students learn to suppress their natural instincts to dream and imagine-instead, they’re taught to fit into a standardized model and to learn by the book, in a way that may not feel natural and that very well may suppress their natural desire to create. But as two famous psychologists recently noted, “Not all minds who wander are lost”-in fact, the mind’s wandering is vital to imagination and creative thought.
Nearly 50 years ago, psychologist Jerome L. Singer established that daydreaming is a normal and indeed widespread aspect of human experience. He found that many people are “happy daydreamers” who enjoy their inner imagery and fantasy. According to Singer, these daydreamers “simply value and enjoy their private experiences, are willing to risk wasting a certain amount of time on them, but also can apparently use them for effective planning and for self-amusement during periods of routine task activity or boredom.”
Singer coined the term positive-constructive daydreaming to describe this type of mind wandering, which he distinguished from poor attention and anxious, obsessive fantasies. By making these important distinctions, Singer was able to highlight the positive, adaptive role that daydreaming can play in our daily lives, under the right circumstances.
28. Who are aware that daydreaming is not a waste of time?
A. Teachers.
B. Parents.
C. School leaders.
D. Creative thinkers.
29. According to the passage, daydreaming is very important to ______.
A. learning by the book
B. imagination and creation
C. suppression of inner desires
D. instincts and amusements
30. What does the underlined word “them” in the third paragraph refer to?
A. Private experience.
B. Circumstances.
C. Fantasies.
D. Happy dreamers.
31. What is true of positive-constructive daydreaming according to the passage?
A. It is a useful mental state.
B. It is similar to poor attention.
C. It is an anxious. obsessive fantasy.
D. It is a standardized model.
D 29. B 30. A 31. A
根据第二段“Creative thinkers know, despite what their parents, teachers and school leaders might have told them, that daydreaming is hardly a waste of time.(尽管他们的父母、老师、校领导已经告诉过他们,但是创造性的思想家知道幻想几乎并不浪费时间。
根据第二段“But as two famous psychologists recently noted, “Not all minds who wander are lost”-in fact, the mind’s wandering is vital to imagination and creative thought.(但是两位著名的心理学家最近指出:不是所有走神的人都是迷茫的。
根据第三段“According to Singer, these daydreamers “simply value and enjoy their private experiences, are willing to risk wasting a certain amount of time on them, but also can apparently use them for effective planning and for self-amusement during periods of routine task activity or boredom.”(根据Singer说,这些仅仅珍视并享受他们私人经历的幻想家们愿意冒险浪费一部分时间在他们上面,显然也能在例行公事的任务活动和无聊中用他们做些有效的计划,并且自娱自乐。
故此处them指代的是their private experiences(私人经历),故选A项。
根据最后一段“By making these important distinctions, Singer was able to highlight the positive, adaptive role that daydreaming can play in our daily lives, under the right circumstances.(通过做出这些重要的区别,Singer有能力突出幻想在我们日常生活中,在适当的情况下,
故选A项。
D
There are so many rabbits across Australia that it may be surprising to learn that they are a non-native species.
A few rabbits arrived with British settlers in 1788, but it was not until 1859, when a British-born farmer named Thomas Austin brought 24 European rabbits to his land for hunting, that they began to live there. They are an excellent example of an invasive (侵入的) species, a non-native species that does harm to its new environment.
Rabbits have lived well in many different environments within Australia, such as grasslands, coastal areas, farmland, and even in towns or cities. Their activities have destroyed crops and plants. They compete directly with
other wildlife for food and shelter, including taking over burrows (地洞) of other animals. They have led to dangerously reduced populations of many plant and animal species.
Efforts to control the rabbit population have had mixed success. The first main effort was the Rabbit-Proof Fence. In 1901, the government started building a knee in the state of Western Australia to protect farmland from rabbits. By the time it was finished in 1907, the Rabbit-Proof Fence ran some 2,000 miles from north to south. The Acting Chief Inspector of Rabbits, Alexander Crawford, headed a team whose job was to go around keeping the fence in working order. But over time, the fence proved to be no match for the rabbits.
Other main efforts have included programs to destroy rabbit burrows or use viruses that sicken and kill rabbits. Again, these efforts have been less than successful. The big problem to any efforts to control the rabbit population is simply that their population grows so quickly. One female can have 30 young in a year.
If Thomas Austin had known the damage that the rabbits would cause across the country, he might have had second thoughts about bringing rabbits to Australia.
32. Why did rabbits begin to live in Australia?
A. They travelled there by chance.
B. They were brought in by Thomas Austin.
C. They were introduced by the government.
D. They moved there to escape bad environment.
33. What is Paragraph 2 mainly about?
A. Some activities of rabbits.
B. Rabbits’ ability to live in the wild.
C. How fast the population of rabbits grows.
D. The damage rabbits have caused to Australia.
34. How successful was the Rabbit-Proof Fence?
A It failed in the beginning.
B. It didn’t live up to expectations.
C. It was unfinished for lack of money.
D. It failed later for nobody protected it.
35. What would be the best title for the text?
A. Rabbits and farming
B. Efforts to control rabbits
C. Rabbits: experts in burrowing
D. Rabbits: unwelcome newcomers
B 33. D 34. B 35. D

根据第三段中“But over time, the fence proved to be no match for the rabbits. (但随着时间的推移,篱笆被证明不是兔子的对手)”可知,防兔篱笆辜负了人们的期望。
