【知识目标】
1、掌握本课中的四会单词
: basketball, try, heavy, difficult, easy, hand ；理解三会单词：throw, catch, hit 。

2、学习并掌握重点句型：The… is light/heavy.
This is too easy/difficult. 3、理解并会朗读短文。

【能力目标】发展学生综合运用语言的能力，培养学生自主探究的能力及与同学的分工合作的能力。

学生能运用所学词汇和句型，运用英语描述运动过程。

【情感目标】通过本课的学习，让学生体会到英语学习的乐趣，乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语，在交流中感受运动的乐趣，培养学生安全运动的意识。

【教学重点】重点单词和句型的理解和掌握。

【教学难点】创设语言情境，运用重点单词和句型。
