* It depends on what you do. If you do academic research(学术研究), knowledge is more important. If you do some handwork, skills are more important. For example, paper cutting needs more skills than knowledge. Playing the piano needs more skills than knowledge. Many sports activities need more skills. If an activity needs more skills, you have to practice it. I think both knowledge and skills are important to vocational college students. Knowledge is important for everyone, but if you have knowledge without practical skills, you can do nothing. If you just have skills without knowledge, you are not likely to have creative ideas and so you are unlikely to improve your skills. I think it is very important for students in technical and vocational schools to have knowledge-based practical skills, as they are important in our future job.

* Yes, I am on the school basketball team. I like basketball very much. It is a team sport. When playing basketball, I learn to cooperate with my teammates.
