In this unit, we learn to greet people and introduce ourselves. We learn to say "Hello, I'm Mingming" and "What's your name?". We also learn to say "My name is Lisa" and "Nice to meet you".
We learn the dialogue "Hello, I'm Mingming." "Hello, Mingming. What's your name?" "My name is Lisa. Nice to meet you." We practice the dialogue with our classmates. We take turns being Mingming and Lisa.
We also learn to sing the song "Hello, Hello, What's Your Name?" We sing and dance to the music. We have a lot of fun learning how to greet people and introduce ourselves.
We also learn to write and recognize the letters of the alphabet. We learn the sounds that each letter makes. We practice writing our names and spelling simple words.
In this unit, we also learn to count from 1 to 10. We learn to recognize and write the numbers. We practice counting objects and matching the numbers to the right objects.
At the end of the unit, we have a class party to celebrate all that we have learned. We greet each other and introduce ourselves using what we have learned. We also sing the song and count the number of treats we have at the party.
Unit 1 is a fun and exciting start to our English learning journey. We have learned how to greet people, introduce ourselves, recognize and write the alphabet, and count from 1 to 10. We are looking forward to using what we have learned in the next unit.。
