As a student myself, I have realized that one of the most significant challenges in our education system is the lack of open dialogue. Too often, students are afraid to express
their opinion, share their ideas, or ask questions due to the fear of being judged or invalidated by their peers. This
leads to a culture of silence, where students are discouraged from engaging in dialogue and debates.
This is where we, as students, can create change. We must take the initiative to be proactive in opening dialogue and promoting a culture of understanding and cooperation. As the saying goes, communication is a two-way process. As such, it
is crucial that we listen to the perspectives of others, respect their viewpoints, and create an environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing their ideas and opinions.
One effective way of achieving this is through the formation of study groups or discussion boards, which allow students to have a platform for sharing their thoughts, ideas, and perspectives. This promotes a sense of belongingness and collaboration, where everyone can feel like they are part of
a team working towards a common goal.
Furthermore, one of the most common challenges in group projects or team assignments is the lack of communication, which often leads to poor performance and incomplete projects.
To avoid these pitfalls, communication must be at the forefront of the group's efforts, where members must communicate their progress, challenges, and ideas regularly. This can be achieved through regular meetings, email chains, or group chats.
