摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent coming-off of a lead by reduction of a binding strength under a high temperature or fuse melting in installing a safely element by bonding a terminal of the safely terminal to an electrode on a thermal conductive substrate by ultrasonic joining. CONSTITUTION:A lead 2A of a thermal fuse 2 is jointed to electrodes 1D, 1F by ultrasonic joining. The lead 2A is set to have a rectangular cross section for increasing a contact surface at this time, it is put to get in contact with the electrodes 1D, 1F under a pressure, and ultrasonic vibration is given in the direction of an electrode surface for ultrasonic joining. With the ultrasonic joining, a joining strength is kept without decreasing up to near a fusing point of metal to be jointed, and a high temperature is not generated at the time of joining. Reduction of the joining strength at a high temperature which causes coming-off of a lead, or melting of the fuse by heat transmitted from a soldering iron in installation of the thermal fuse can thus be prevented.
