Lesson Nine: At the Zoo
教学内容简述：1.What is it? 2.Let’s go to the zoo!
教学目的：通过学习本课，学生掌握zoo,panda,monkey三个四会单词，能听、说、读giraffe,deer,fat ,thin,tall,short几个单词，能用I see a _____.说句子。

教学重难点：单词，句子，如教学目的。

教具学具：单词卡片，录音机
教学过程：
Step One:Greeting and revision
Do some actions: hop,hop,hop, I like to hop.
Jump,jump,jump,I like to jump.
Swim,swim,swim, I can swim.
Walk,walk,walk, I can walk.
Fly,fly,fly, I want to fly.
Play,play,play, I want to play.
Stand,stand,stand, I don’t like to stand.
Sit,sit,sit, Let’s sit down.
T: Can you fly?
Ss:No,I can’t.
T:Can you walk forward?
Ss:Yes,I can.
T:Can a bird fly?
Ss:Yes, it can.
T:Can a goat swim?
Ss:No, it can’t.
T:Can the animals do?Look and say.看大屏幕，出示一些动词单词及动作的词，学生可模仿说句子。

一些学生展示后，小组内练习，这样可提高参与率。

Step Two:New Concept.
T:Yesterday I went to a zoo. I see more animals.Guess what it is?
1、同学们利用句子来猜：Can it ______? What colour is it?Is it tall?
出示第一幅图，panda.教授panda 这个单词，指出It’s fat.带领学生多读几遍。

2、T：This animal is short. It can climb.做爬的动作。

What is it?
学生猜这个单词，出示这个词，教授monkey.指出It is thin.手指熊猫和猴子，比较fat和thin.
3、T:This animal is very tall .It has a long neck.What is it? It’s a giraffe.教授giraffe.it’s very tall.
4、直接出示deer的图片，教授deer。

与giraffe进行比较，Deer is short.
5、玩猜是什么的游戏What is it?
6、T:I like animals. I see a cow.It’s fat.模仿老师说的句子说句子。

教师出示一些动物图片。

7、听第二部分的录音，跟读一遍。

8、表演第二部分的对话。

先小组内表演，再到前面表演。

Step Three:Homework.
Copy “zoo,panda,monkey”
Read the text and recite it.
Do Activity Book.
