Tang Seng, also known as Xuanzang, was a famous Chinese Buddhist monk and scholar who lived during the Tang Dynasty. He is best known for his legendary journey to India to obtain Buddhist scriptures and his role as the main character in the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West". 。
Tang Seng was born in 602 AD in what is now Henan, China. From a young age, he showed a great interest in Buddhism and dedicated himself to studying the scriptures and teachings of the religion. He eventually became a monk and traveled to Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty, to further his studies.
In 629 AD, Tang Seng embarked on a perilous journey to India in search of Buddhist scriptures. The journey was long and treacherous, filled with dangers and obstacles.
