Tiger Mother in my eyes
Amy Chua , a professor of Yalu university , who wo call …Tiger mother‟.With her book Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother coming out , there comes a contention about Chinese and western education .
In her view , western education emphasis creation too much , but Chinese education excessive emphasis on rules and hard working . She believes that there can be a balance between Chinese and western education . There are ten do‟s and don‟ts for her daughters which is effective until her daughters come of age . For example ,they are not allowed to play other instrument except for violin . Amy don‟t think they can choose what is right for them .
Not alone but with a good prototype . Several years ago,Wolf Father set off a heated discussion . However , views and opinion differ from one another .
Another ethnic Chinese mother Zhao Hua , hold a opposite view . “we can‟t make the decision for children‟s hobby ”She said . I don‟t agree with Tiger Mother either , for parents have no power to choose our future . A professor in Beijing university don‟t think the Tiger Mother can be the representation of Chinese.
There is a striking phenomenon . The Americans only make up 5% of the world population , but own 70% of Nobel Prize . I think creation is more important . In my opinion , the education which is appropriate for children is the best education .
