Differences in social interaction between China and English
社会不稳定因素英语作文
Growing up in a world that is constantly evolving, Ive observed a myriad of social issues that contribute to instability. These factors, ranging from economic disparities to political unrest, have a profound impact on the lives of individuals and communities alike. As a high school student, Ive had the opportunity to delve into these issues through various academic courses, community service, and personal experiences, which have shaped my understanding of the complexities that underlie social stability. One of the most pressing issues Ive noticed is economic inequality. In my hometown, the stark contrast between the affluent neighborhoods and the impoverished areas is a daily reminder of this divide. The lack of access to quality education, healthcare, and job opportunities for those in lower socioeconomic groups perpetuates a cycle of poverty that is difficult to break. This disparity not only affects the individuals involved but also strains the social fabric of the community, leading to feelings of resentment and hopelessness.Another significant factor contributing to social instability is political unrest. The news is often filled with stories of protests, uprisings, and conflicts arising from political disagreements. These events can be triggered by a variety of issues, such as corruption, lack of representation, or controversial policies. For instance, I recall a time when our city was engulfed in protests due to a proposed tax increase that many citizens felt was unjust. The unrest that followed not only disrupted daily life but also highlighted the deepseated frustrations and dissatisfaction among the populace.Environmental degradation is another concern that cannot be overlooked. The effects of climate change, pollution, and deforestation have farreaching implications for society. Ive personally witnessed the consequences of deforestation in a nearby village where the loss of trees led to soil erosion and a decline in agricultural productivity. This, in turn, affected the livelihoods of the villagers and contributed to social tensions as people struggled to adapt to the changing conditions.Cultural and religious differences also play a role in social instability. In our increasingly globalized world, the interaction between different cultures and belief systems can sometimes lead to misunderstandings and conflicts. Ive seen firsthand how stereotypes and prejudices can divide communities and create an atmosphere of mistrust and animosity. Its crucial for individuals to engage in open dialogue and foster mutual understandingto bridge these divides. The role of technology in society is a doubleedged sword. While it has the potential to connect people and provide access to information, it can also be a source of misinformation and cyberbullying. In my school, Ive seen how social media can be used to spread rumors and incite hatred, leading to a toxic environment that affects the mental wellbeing of students.Addressing these social instability factors requires a multifaceted approach. Education is a powerful tool that can equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to navigate these challenges. Initiatives that promote financial literacy, critical thinking, and empathy are essential in fostering a more stable and inclusive society. Moreover, strong leadership and governance are crucial in addressing the root causes of social unrest. Transparent decisionmaking processes, anticorruption measures, and policies that prioritize the wellbeing of all citizens can help build trust and reduce tensions.Community engagement and grassroots movements can also play a vital role in tackling these issues. By empowering individuals to take an active role in their communities, we can create a sense of ownership and responsibility that can lead to positive change. In conclusion, social instability is a complex issue that affects us all in one way or another. As a high school student, Ive come to understand that its not just about identifying the problems but also about actively participating in the solutions. By working together, we can create a more stable and harmonious society for future generations.。
文化差异相互交流的英语作文
文化差异相互交流的英语作文Cultural Differences in Mutual CommunicationIn this increasingly globalized world, the interaction between cultures has become more frequent and unavoidable. It is inevitable that people from different backgrounds will come across each other in various situations, whether it be in the workplace, social settings, or even in everyday interactions. These encounters often reveal the stark differences that exist between cultures, and how these differences can impact communication between individuals. One of the most obvious differences between cultures is in communication styles. Some cultures value direct and straightforward communication, while others prefer a more indirect and implicit approach. For example, in Western cultures, it is common for people to speak their minds openly and directly, even if it means causing offense. On the other hand, in Asian cultures, people often communicate in a more roundabout manner, using subtle hints and nonverbal cues to convey their thoughts and feelings. These differences in communication styles can lead to misunderstandings and misinterpretations, especially whenpeople from different cultures are trying to communicate with each other. For example, a straightforward comment from a Westerner may be perceived as rude or aggressive by someone from an Asian culture, while a more indirect statement from an Asian person may be seen as evasive or unclear by a Westerner.Another aspect of cultural differences in communication is the use of language. Language is not just a means of communication, but also a reflection of a culture's values, beliefs, and social norms. The words and expressions that are used in a language can reveal a lot about the culture that it comes from, and can also influence how people perceive and interact with each other. For example, the use of honorifics and titles in Asian languages such as Korean and Japanese reflect the hierarchical nature of those societies, with different levels of formality and politeness used depending on the social status of the speaker and the listener. In contrast, languages such as English and Spanish have a more egalitarian approach to communication, with less emphasis on social hierarchy and status. In addition to communication styles and language, cultural differences can also manifest in nonverbal communication. Gestures, facial expressions, body language, and even personalspace can vary greatly between cultures, and can have a significant impact on how people interact with each other. For example, in some cultures, maintaining eye contact is seen as a sign of respect and attentiveness, while in others, it may be considered impolite or confrontational. Similarly, gestures such as nodding, shaking hands, or bowing can have different meanings and interpretations depending on the cultural context.Despite these challenges, cultural differences in communication can also be a source of richness and diversity. When people from different cultures come together, they have the opportunity to learn from each other, broaden their perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of other ways of thinking and living.By embracing cultural differences and approaching them with an open mind and a spirit of curiosity and respect, people can overcome communication barriers and build stronger relationships with individuals from different backgrounds. Through mutual understanding and empathy, people can bridge the divide between cultures and create a more inclusive and harmonious world. In conclusion, cultural differences in communication are a natural and inevitable result of the diversity of human societies. By recognizing and respecting these differences, and by making an effort to understand and adapt to them, people can enhance their communication skills, foster cross-cultural understanding, and build more meaningful and rewarding relationships with others. In the end, it is through cultural exchange and mutual communication that we can celebrate the richness and beauty of our diverse world.。

However, the way people communicate can vary greatly depending on their cultural background. This is particularly evident in the differences between Eastern and Western societies. In this essay, we will explore the various ways in which conversations differ between these two cultural contexts. One of the key differences between Eastern and Western conversations lies in the level of directness used by speakers. In Western societies, people tend to be more direct in their communication, often saying exactly what they mean without much ambiguity. This can be seen in the use of explicit language and straightforward statements in conversations. In contrast, Eastern societies tend to valuemore indirect communication, using subtle hints and non-verbal cues to convey their messages. This can sometimes lead to misunderstandings between individuals fromdifferent cultural backgrounds, as what is left unsaid can be just as important as what is said.Another important difference in conversations between Eastern and Western societies is the emphasis placed on individualism versus collectivism. In Western cultures, there is a strong focus on individualism, with people often expressing their own opinions and ideas freely. This can lead to lively debates and discussions, as individuals are encouraged to express themselves and assert their independence. In contrast, Eastern cultures tend to place more emphasis on collectivism, with people prioritizing the needs of the group over their own personal desires. This can result in conversations that are more harmonious and focused on maintaining social harmony, rather than asserting individual opinions.Additionally, the role of silence in conversations differs between Eastern and Western societies. In Westerncultures, silence is often seen as awkward or uncomfortable, leading people to fill gaps in conversation with small talk or other forms of communication. However, in Eastern cultures, silence is often valued as a way of showing respect or contemplation. This can lead to moments ofsilence in conversations that may seem unusual to Westerners, but are seen as perfectly normal in Eastern cultures.Furthermore, the use of humor in conversations also varies between Eastern and Western societies. In Western cultures, humor is often used as a way to break the ice and create a sense of camaraderie between individuals. Jokesand sarcasm are common forms of humor used in conversations, with people often using humor to lighten the mood and connect with others. In contrast, Eastern cultures tend to use humor more sparingly, with jokes being seen as less appropriate in formal or serious situations. This can sometimes lead to misunderstandings between individualsfrom different cultural backgrounds, as what is considered funny in one culture may not be seen as humorous in another. In conclusion, conversations between Eastern and Western societies can be influenced by a variety ofcultural factors, including the level of directness used, the emphasis on individualism versus collectivism, the role of silence, and the use of humor. By understanding and appreciating these cultural differences, individuals can navigate conversations more effectively and build stronger connections with people from different cultural backgrounds. 中西方幽默的差异英语作文
中西方幽默的差异英语作文The Divergence of Humor between Eastern and Western Cultures.Humor is a ubiquitous element in human communication and culture, yet it often manifests differently across geographical and cultural divides. The differences between Eastern and Western humor are particularly intriguing, reflecting the distinct values, traditions, and social norms of these two vast cultural blocs. In the West, humor is often characterized by its directness and irony. Western humor tends to embrace a more analytical and logical approach, with a strong penchant for sarcasm and wit. This type of humor often involves a play on words or situations, requiring the listener to interpret the intended meaning beyond the literal sense. Western humor also has a strong tradition of mockery and satire, often used to criticize social norms or political figures. This style of humor can be quite尖锐, even offensive tosome, but it is often considered a form of honest expression and critical thinking. On the other hand, Eastern humor, particularly in cultures like China, tends to be more implicit and subtle. It often involves a degree of ambiguity andindirectness, leaving room for the listener to interpret the humor based on contextual clues and shared cultural knowledge. Eastern humor often employs riddles, puns, and double entendresthat require a deeper understanding of the language and culture to appreciate. This type of humor also tends to be less confrontational, avoiding direct mockery or criticism, and instead focusing on creating a shared experience of amusement. The difference in humor styles can be traced back to the divergent philosophical and social values of Eastern and Western cultures. Western culture, influenced by the Enlightenment and a strong tradition of rationalism, tends to emphasize individuality, logic, and objectivity. This emphasis on rationality and directness finds its way into humor, resulting in a style that is often sharp and to thepoint. In contrast, Eastern cultures, particularly those influenced by Confucianism and Taoism, tend to value harmony, respect for authority, and a strong sense of collective identity. These values lead to a humor that is more concerned with maintaining social harmony than with challenging authority or established norms. Eastern humor, therefore, tends to be less confrontational and more focused on creating a shared experience of joy and amusement. Moreover, the role of humor in social interaction also differs between Eastern and Western cultures. In the West, humor is often used as a tool for social bonding, but it can also be a weapon for social exclusion or marginalization. Western humor can be quite exclusionary, with insiders using humor to exclude outsiders or those who don't share the same cultural references or values. In Eastern cultures, humor is less likely to be usedfor exclusionary purposes. Instead, it is more oftenemployed as a way to create social harmony and maintain good relationships. Eastern humor tends to be more inclusive, focusing on creating a shared experience of amusement that brings people together rather than divides them.In conclusion, the differences in humor between Eastern and Western cultures reflect the distinct values, traditions, and social norms of these two vast cultural blocs. Western humor is direct, analytical, and often critical, while Eastern humor is more implicit, subtle, and focused on maintaining social harmony. Understanding these differences can help us appreciate the rich diversity of humor across cultures and better understand the values and norms that shape it.。

As the world becomes increasingly globalized, understanding and respecting these cultural differences in etiquette has become increasingly important. This essay will explore some of the key differences in etiquette practices across various nations and the importance of being mindful of these differences. One of the most notable differences in etiquette can be seen in the way people greet one another. In many Western countries, a firm handshake is a common and acceptable form of greeting, while in parts of Asia, a gentle bow or a nod of the head is more appropriate. In some Middle Eastern countries, a handshake may be considered too informal, and a simple nod or a slight inclination of the head is the preferred greeting.Another area where etiquette varies greatly is the concept of personal space. In some countries, it is considered polite to leave a small amount of food on one's plate at the end of a meal, as this is seen as a sign of satisfaction. In contrast, in parts of Asia, cleaning one's plate is often interpreted as a compliment to the chef and a sign of appreciation for the meal. The use of utensils during meals is another area where etiquette can vary. In many Western countries, the fork is held in the left hand and the knife in the right hand, while in some Asian cultures, chopsticks are the primary utensil, and their use is governed by a complex set of rules and customs.Gestures and body language can also carry different meanings in different cultures. For example, in some countries, pointing with the index finger is considered rude, and it is more appropriate to use an open hand or to gesture with the entire hand. Similarly, the way one sits or stands can be interpreted differently across cultures, with some postures being seen as more respectful or appropriate than others. Finally, the concept of time and punctuality can also vary significantly across cultures. Failing to do so can lead to misunderstandings, offend others, and even jeopardize important relationships or business deals. To navigate these cultural differences effectively, it is important to be open-minded, curious, and willing to learn about the customs and norms of the cultures with which one is interacting. This may involve researching the etiquette practices of a particular country or region, observing the behavior of locals, and being willing to adjust one's own behavior accordingly.Additionally, it is important to approach cross-cultural interactions with humility and a willingness to learn. Acknowledging one's own cultural biases and being open to feedback and guidance from those with more experience in a particular cultural context can go a long way in building trust and fostering successful cross-cultural relationships. In conclusion, the differences in etiquette across cultures are vast and complex, reflecting the rich diversity of human societies. In this essay, I will explore the differences in the way I interact with a particular classmate compared to our usual social norms.Firstly, the classmate in question, let's call her Sarah, is more outgoing and extroverted than me. She is always the first to initiate conversations and is not afraid to speak her mind. On the other hand, I am more reserved and introverted, preferring to listen rather than talk. This dynamic creates a contrast in our interactions, as Sarah often takes the lead in conversations and discussions.Furthermore, Sarah is a social butterfly who enjoys being the center of attention. She is constantly surrounded by a group of friends and is always the life of the party. In contrast, I prefer smaller, more intimate gatherings and value deep one-on-one conversations. This difference in social behaviors often leads tomisunderstandings between us, as Sarah may feel I am not as enthusiastic or engaged in social activities. In addition, Sarah is more spontaneous and adventurous than me. She is always up for trying new things and stepping out of her comfort zone. On the other hand, I am more risk-averse and prefer sticking to routines and familiar activities. This difference in approach to life can sometimes lead to conflicts, as Sarah may feel I am holding her back from new experiences.Despite these differences, Sarah and I have developed a strong bond and mutual respect for each other's differences. By acknowledging and accepting our contrasting social behaviors, we have learned to appreciate the diversity in our personalities and have found a way to balance our interactions. As a seasoned traveler and a cultural enthusiast, I have had the privilege of witnessing and experiencing these variations firsthand, and they have left an indelible impression on my understanding of global communication. One of the most striking differences Ive observed lies in the realm of greetings. In many Western cultures, a firm handshake often serves as the standard greeting, accompanied by direct eye contact and a smile. This simple act is a universal sign of trust and respect. However, in some Asian countries, a bow is the traditional form of greeting, reflecting a deep sense of humility and respect. The bows depth can even indicate the level of respect one has for the other person. This subtle yet profound differencein nonverbal communication speaks volumes about the values ingrained in each culture.Another aspect of etiquette that varies significantly is the concept of personal space. In North America and Europe, maintaining a certain distance while conversing is considered polite, as it respects the individuals personal space. Conversely, in Latin American cultures, standing closer while talking is common and is seen as a sign of warmth and friendliness. This closeness can sometimes be misinterpreted by those unfamiliar with the cultural norms, highlighting the importance of being aware and adaptable in social interactions.Table manners are another area where cultural etiquette diverges. For instance, in the United States, it is customary to hold the fork in the left hand and the knife in the right hand when cutting food. However, in some European countries like France, it is acceptable to hold the fork in the right hand after cutting and then switch to the left hand to eat. In Asian cultures, particularly in China and Japan, using chopsticks is the norm, and there are specific etiquette rules associated with their use, such as not sticking them vertically into a bowl of rice, as this is reminiscent of funeral rites.Giftgiving is another social ritual that is fraught with cultural nuances. In many Western societies, it is common to present a gift upon arrival, while in some Eastern cultures, it is more appropriate to offer the gift at the end of a visit to avoid the appearance of bribery. Additionally, the act of accepting or opening a gift can differ in some cultures, it is polite to open the gift immediately to show appreciation, whereas in others, it is customary to open it in private to avoid any potential embarrassment over the gifts value.Business etiquette also varies greatly around the world. In the United States, punctuality is highly valued, and being late to a meeting is often seen as a sign of disrespect. In contrast, in some Middle Eastern countries, a more relaxed approach to time is taken, and meetings may start later than scheduled without any negative connotations. Understanding these nuances can be crucial for successful international business relationships. One of the most memorable experiences I had regarding cultural etiquette was during a visit to Japan. I was invited to a traditional tea ceremony, where the host meticulously prepared the tea in a ritualized manner. The ceremony was a lesson in patience, respect, and the art of hospitality. The importance of each movement, the placement of each utensil, and the silence between sips were all integral parts of the experience. It was a humbling reminder of the depth and beauty that can be found in the observance of etiquette. In conclusion, the differences in social etiquette around the world are a testament to the richness of human culture and the importance of understanding and respecting these practices. As we navigate the global community, being aware of and sensitive to these differences can foster better communication, deeper relationships, and a greater appreciation for the diversity that makes our world so fascinating. It is through these small acts of etiquette that we can build bridges of understanding and respect, one handshake, one bow, one meal at a time.。

中英打招呼不同 英语作文
中英打招呼不同英语作文Greetings are an integral part of social interaction and communication in any culture. They serve as an important means of establishing rapport, conveying respect, and setting the tone for a conversation or encounter. However, the specific ways in which people greet one another can vary significantly across different cultural contexts. This is particularly true when comparing the norms and customs surrounding greetings in the Chinese and English-speaking worlds. One of the most notable differences lies in the degree of formality associated with various greeting expressions. In the Chinese language, there is a clear distinction between more formal and informal greetings. For example, the phrase "Nǐ hǎo" (你好) is a widely recognized and commonly used greeting that conveys a sense of politeness and respect. It is the go-to greeting in most formal or professional settings, such as when meeting a new acquaintance, a superior at work, or a stranger. In contrast, the phrase "Zǎo" (早), which literally translates to "morning," is a more casual and informal greeting, typically used among close friends, family members, or incasual, relaxed environments. This formal-informal dichotomy is not as pronounced in the English language, where greetings tend to be more universally applicable across different social contexts. While there are certainly some variations in the level of formality, such as the difference between "Good morning" and "Hey," the overall range of greeting expressions in English is generally more flexible and adaptable to a wider range of situations. English speakers may use the same greeting, such as "Hello" or "Hi," when addressing a colleague, a close friend, or a complete stranger, with the tone and context providing the necessary cues for the appropriate level of formality.Another key difference lies in the physical aspects of greetings. In the Chinese culture, the traditional greeting often involves a slight bow or nod of the head, accompanied by a verbal expression such as "Nǐ hǎo." This physical gesture is a way of conveying respect and humility, and it is particularly important in formal or hierarchical settings, such as when greeting an elder or a person of higher social status. In contrast, the most common form of greeting in English-speaking cultures is the handshake, which is often seen as a more direct and assertive way of establishing contact and conveying confidence.Furthermore, the use of touch in greetings can also vary significantlybetween the two cultures. In the Chinese context, physical contact beyond a slight bow or nod is generally considered more intimate and reserved for close personal relationships. Hugging, for example, is not a common greeting practice in traditional Chinese culture and may be seen as overly familiar or even inappropriate in certain situations. On the other hand, in many English-speaking cultures, a hug or a pat on the back is a more acceptable and even expected form of greeting, especially among friends, family members, or in more casual social settings. The timing and frequency of greetings can also differ between the Chinese and English-speaking worlds. In the Chinese culture, it is generally considered polite to greet individuals upon both the initial encounter and the conclusion of an interaction, as a way of acknowledging the person's presence and showing respect. This can lead to a more frequent exchange of greetings, with individuals often greeting each other multiple times during a single encounter. In contrast, in many English-speaking cultures, the expectation is often to greet someone only once, either at the beginning or the end of an interaction, with a greater emphasis on the initial greeting setting the tone for the entire exchange. These cultural differences in greetings can sometimes lead to misunderstandings or awkward situations when individuals from different backgrounds interact. For instance, a Chinese person maybe surprised or even offended by the perceived lack of formality or frequency of greetings in an English-speaking context, while an English speaker may find the repeated greetings in a Chinese setting to be unnecessary or even excessive. To navigate these cultural differences effectively, it is important for individuals to be aware of and sensitive to the nuances of greeting customs in different cultural contexts. This can involve learning and practicing the appropriate greeting expressions, understanding the underlying social norms and expectations, and being mindful of the physical and temporal aspects of greetings. By developing this cultural awareness and adaptability, individuals can better navigate cross-cultural interactions and foster more positive and meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds. In conclusion, the differences in greetings between the Chinese and English-speaking cultures highlight the rich diversity of human social and communication practices. While these differences may initially present challenges, embracing and understanding them can ultimately lead to a richer and more rewarding cross-cultural experience. By recognizing and respecting the unique greeting customs of different cultures, we can build bridges of understanding, enhance our intercultural competence, and cultivate more meaningful and harmonious relationships across the global community.。

In Chinese culture, it is often valued to be polite and respectful by using indirect speech and nonverbal cues to convey messages. For example, instead of directly refusing an invitation, a Chinese person may respond with phrases like "I will think about it" or "I'm not sure if I can make it." 中西方打招呼方式差异英文作文Differences in Greeting Customs Between Eastern and Western Cultures.Greetings are an essential aspect of social interaction, serving as a bridge between individuals and shaping theinitial perception of each other. While the act of greeting may seem universal, cultural variations give rise todistinct practices and expectations across differentregions of the world. This essay explores the keydifferences in greeting customs between Eastern and Western cultures, examining the nuances of verbal communication, nonverbal cues, and the influence of cultural values.Verbal Communication:In Western cultures, greetings typically involve averbal exchange such as "Hello" or "Good morning." The emphasis is on clarity and brevity, with a focus on the direct conveyance of the message. In contrast, Easterncultures often incorporate more elaborate verbal greetings, such as "Konnichiwa" in Japanese or "Ni hao" in Mandarin. These greetings may also include inquiries about the other person's well-being, expressing concern and respect. Additionally, Eastern cultures often employ honorifics, such as "Mr." or "Ms.," to show deference to the recipient.Nonverbal Cues:Nonverbal cues play a significant role in both Eastern and Western greetings, though their interpretation varies. In Western cultures, a handshake is a common form of greeting, symbolizing trust and sincerity. The handshake is typically firm and brief, with eye contact maintained throughout the exchange. In Eastern cultures, bowing is a more prevalent greeting gesture. The depth and duration of the bow convey respect and deference, with deeper and longer bows indicating a higher level of formality. Other nonverbal cues, such as the use of gestures and facial expressions, may also vary across cultures, reflecting different norms of politeness and emotional expression.Influence of Cultural Values:Cultural values exert a profound influence on greeting customs. In individualistic Western cultures, greetings tend to prioritize self-expression and assertiveness. Individuals are expected to introduce themselves clearly and confidently, often with a smile or a friendly gesture. In collectivist Eastern cultures, greetings emphasize group harmony and social hierarchy. Individuals are expected to show respect to elders and superiors, with greetings reflecting the recipient's status and position in thesocial order.Specific Examples:To illustrate these differences, let us consider specific greeting customs from different cultures:Japan: Greetings in Japan are highly ritualized and formal. The most common greeting is a bow, which may vary in depth and duration depending on the social context. Verbal greetings typically include inquiries about theother person's well-being and may be accompanied by gestures such as handshakes or polite bowing.China: In Chinese culture, greetings are influenced by Confucian values of respect and hierarchy. Greetings typically involve a bow or a handshake, with the elder or more senior person initiating the greeting. Verbal greetings may include expressions of well wishes or compliments.United States: Greetings in the United States are generally more informal and casual. A simple "Hello" or "Good morning" accompanied by a smile is often sufficient. Handshakes are common, but personal space is generally respected.France: In French culture, greetings are typically more expressive and formal than in the United States. A handshake or a kiss on both cheeks (known as "la bise") is common among acquaintances. Verbal greetings often include polite inquiries or compliments. Conclusion:Greeting customs vary significantly between Eastern and Western cultures, reflecting differences in verbal communication, nonverbal cues, and cultural values. In Western cultures, greetings tend to prioritize clarity, brevity, and self-expression. In Eastern cultures, greetings are often more elaborate, respectful, and hierarchical. Understanding these nuances is crucial for effective communication and building positive relationships across cultural boundaries. For your better understanding ,I will set examples of China and America.Diet is absolutely necessary in the life of mankind, and even in the existence or development. Because of the differences between Chinese and western cultural traditions, the Chinese and western dietary cultures are different in concept, target, pattern, attribution and nature. Western culture (in particular, modern American culture) can be said to be male and female culture. But the Chinese culture can be said to be a dietary culture.
It is no doubt that it is a tradition to use chopsticks for Chinese. But people in America prefer to forks and knives. This different result is based on different food they are like .Americans choose to eat beefsteak, bread, and salad, while Chinese people choose noodles ,pancakes and rice. However, there is a trend that the food in both countries has been mixture. For example, the coffee and bread have introduced to China. The famous KFC is very popular at children.
