PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit1 This is my day第一课时教学设计一:教材分析:本课题是 PEP 小学英语五年级下册第一单元。

本单元是五年级上册第二单元关于“课程安排与周末活动”的延续。

本单元重点学习一天中不同时间段内学习和生活起居情况以及周末活动安排的表达,尤其是学会使用频度副词谈论日常生活。

本单元新增加了介词“in ”和“at”的用法。

该课时为本单元的第一课时,教学内容为Let’s chant;Let’s learn , Let’s play,Good to know and Let’s sing.二:设计基本教学理念:1、以活动为教学载体,倡导体验学习。

以新课程标准所倡导的教学思想为基本理念,让学生通过体验,感知,参与,实践和多种合作的方式学会语言,学会交流。

2、以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

面向全体学生,以人为本,使语言教学的这一过程同时也成为人文素质、增强实践能力,培养创新精神的过程。

三:学情分析:五年级学生的英语口语能力和语言组织能力比较强,已经有了一定的英语思维能力。

他们的兴趣广泛,对日常的学习和娱乐生活安排有自己的理解和喜恶,因此谈论起日常生活时,他们都有亲身经历和体验,有话可说,有感而发。

学生在学本节课内容之前,已掌握了一些常用的反映日常生活和学习情况的单词或词组。

本节课的主要任务是让学生如何运用已知的语言知识和已具备的技能,在真实或接近真实的语言环境中运用英语。

四:教学目标:1.能够听、说、读、写以下动词短语:eat breakfast, do morning exercises, have English class, play sports, eat dinner.2.能够听懂问句:When do you do morning exercises / …? 并能用所学动词短语替换句型“I usually … at …”中的关键词回答问句。

3.能理解并说唱Let’s chant and Let’s sing部分的歌谣。

4.能够了解Good to know 部分的内容。

五、教学重、难点1.本课时的教学重点是掌握A部分Let’s learn中的五个动词短语,并能用这五个短语回答询问作息时间的问题。

2.教学难点:do morning exercises及单词usually的发音;have English class, do morning exercises, play sports, eat breakfast 和 eat dinner的书写;根据实际情况运用句型:When do you…? I usually…at…六:教具准备1.教师准备Let’s start部分和主情景图的教学挂图。

2、教师准备相关的课件与磁带。

3.教师准备五年级上册第二单元的动词卡片和本单元A Let’s learn 部分的动词卡片。

4.教师在课前将usually, often, sometimes的单词卡片贴在教室的墙上。

5.教师课前在黑板上画一个大钟,并标注时间刻度。

6、学生准备日常生活用语单词卡。

七:教学方法以视听,小组合作,调查等方式,为学生创设一个良好的的学习环境,让学生在情景中表演,小组合作中逐步掌握句型:When do you…? I usually…at…八:课型多媒体课九:教学过程Step 1: Warming up1.Let’s sing “Weekend”,播放多媒体课件,师生同唱。

然后快速的进行抢问和抢答。

(设计目的:通过练习,复习了时间表达法,为新授内容提供知识准备,播放多媒体课件又能激发学生热情,将学习的注意力有效地转移到课堂中来,快速进入语言环境和学习状态,使每一个学生都参与进教学活动中,为这一堂课的开展做好准备。

)Step 2: Preview:将学生分成四组,出示动词卡片:play football, watch TV等,每一组派一名学生看词卡表演动作,该组的其他学生猜动作名称,猜对次数多的一组为胜。

(设计目的:通过游戏,调动学生学习英语的兴趣,使他们在游戏中复习已学过的动词短语。

这样既不枯燥,又达到复习的目的。

)Step 3: Presentation1.教学Let’s learn 。

(1)教师通过课件展示教材图片和相关的5个短语do morning exercises, have English class , eat breakfast , play sports , eat dinner .(2)教师播放5个短语的录音,引导学生根据听到的内容,找出其中相应的图和短语,同时一边重复跟读,一边模仿画面中人物表演出短语的意思。

(多媒体课件)(3)教师点击课件中的短语do morning exercises,学生跟读,exercises一词教师可以带领学生分音节去掌握读音。

(4)教师播放Let’s learn部分对话录音,学生跟读,并说出句子的意思。

两人一组朗读句子。

(5)学生两人一组用单词卡片练习本课时的动词短语。

说得多的且正确的一方为胜利者。

(6)上课前教师将写有often, usually, sometimes的单词卡片贴在教室的墙上,教师说出含有以上单词的这个句子,学生要迅速的指向这一单词并重复这个句子。

(7)引导学生以比赛的形式拼读所学的动词短语。

表扬读得快且正确的学生。

(奖励一个小贴画)3.做游戏.教师课件出示一个Timetable,如下图所示师生之间进行问答训练:T: When do you eat breakfast?Ss: I eat breakfast at 7:00.T & Ss: I usually eat breakfast at 7:00.T: When do you go to bed?Ss: I go to bed at 9:00.T & Ss: I usually go to bed at 9:00.……(设计目的:这些活动设计与教学内容密切配合,能帮助学生学习各种单调的内容,另外,游戏教学也能帮助学生更好的理解句子内容,特别是重点和难点。

)Step4: Practice⑴组织学生两人一组用所学动词词组,根据实际情况分别介绍自己的作息时间。

I usually …at…I usually get up at 6:30 in the morning.I usually eat breakfast at 7:00 in the morning.I usually eat dinner at 8:00 in the evening.⑵Let’s play.学生两人一组配合,一人表演新授动词短语,另一人猜测说出拍挡所要表达的词组,如:eat breakfast , do homework 等;学生三人一组配合,第一人表演动作,第二人表演时间,第三人说出所要表达的句子,如,I eat breakfast at 7:00. 表演完毕后全班评选最佳小组并奖励成员一个小贴画。

⑶ Do a survey.A: 教师给每组学生发一份调查表,组织进行小组调查。

学生每四人为一组,一名记者,一名被采访者,一名纪录员,第四人作为活动组织者。

采访活动四人交替进行。

参考句型:S1: Hi, my name is… May I ask you some questions?S2: OK, my pleasure.S1: When do you usually …?S2: I usually …B:每个小组选出一人根据调查结果做汇报,评选出最佳记者团队。

(设计目的:新授结束后,这个阶段也是学生最易感到疲劳的时间。

)Step 5:Extension1.学生以Let’s chant 为模板,用新学的句子和短语重新编写歌谣。

2.了解一所美国小学五年级学生的作息时间表。

(播放多媒体课件)以下是美国AVON小学生作息时间表:教师向学生简要介绍美国学生的在校情况,学生通过提问教师的形式,从而了解美国学生的生活、学习情况。

学生运用下列句型提问:When do they get up? 教师作答,或者请一位学生帮助回答。

(设计目的:教师利用小学生好奇心强,求知欲旺盛等心理特点,引入该环节的教学,既渗透了文化知识,也开拓他们的视野。

)Step6: Homework1.教师帮助学生理解教材Good to know内容,可用图例解释短语clean your hands, brush your teeth的意思,引导学生在句子中猜测单词before的意思。

2. 让学生背诵并抄写本单元的四会单词。

九:板书设计:十:教学反思在教学设计中,通过充实课堂教学中生活化的因素,创设一种再现生活、表达生活的情景,使书本知识与生活世界相沟通。

亮点之一是在谈论日常生活的作息时间时,学生们在起床、上学、作业和睡觉几个环节,差异较大。

教师鼓励学生说出自己的真实情况,适时引导学生展开讨论,然后学生自己归纳总结良好的生活习惯若干条。

要让孩子知道什么时间该做什么事情,把家庭同学校的作息制度衔接起来,这有助于他们有序的生活和学习,更有助于锻炼他们的独立性。

这节课中我多次让后进生来回答问题,在同学面前表现自己,让他们在学习中找到更多的自信。

另外,在新授课过程中由于情景创设的不太到位,因此,学生的积极性虽然很高,但是仍有部分学生并没有完全融入课堂。
