This idea has inspired a number of international projects that have been designed and implemented as means to allow developing countries cross the digital divide. UNESCO’s “Information for All Project”, “African Information Society Initiative” (AISI) and “Computers for Africa” are only some of them. Finally, the “World Summit on the Information Society” (WSIS) addresses a plethora of problems that relate to developing countries, the digital divide and interrelated topics included.Information poor people within developed countriesThis issue is yet more complicated since one can also encounter people who live in perfectly advanced countries, but are still experiencing conditions that prevent them from taking part in the Digital Revolution. The reasons may well be personal, when it comes to lack of literacy or numeracy skills, or social, in cases where a low income may not allow for the purchase of a computer. benefit. In order for a third party beneficiary to have any rights under the contract, he must be an intended beneficiary, as opposed to an incidental beneficiary.
