How do you get to school?
(SectionA1a-1c)教案设计
教材分析:
本单元主要是通过特殊疑问句“How do you get to school ?”这个句型来达到学习交通工具的短语:take the train , take the bus, take the subway, ride the bike ,walk. 能够运用句型---How do you get to school ?--- I take the train / take the bus/ take the subway/ ride the bike /walk.进行口语交际。

进而延伸到句型---How does he/she get to school ?--- He/She takes the train / takes the bus/ takes the subway/ rides
the bike /walks .在句型的练习中,引导学生们尽量骑自行车或步行上学,提倡低碳生活,从而达到本节课的德育目标.
学情分析:
在小学阶段时,学生们已经学习过表交通工具的词汇、短语及句型,但那时的要求较低,只需要会读,会认就行。

本节课的目的不仅让90%的学生会读,会认,还要让他们明白当主语是第一人称I时,动词要用原形;当主语是第三人称单数he/she 时,动词要用第三人称单数(即在动词后加s)。

学生分析:
对于七年级的学生来说,对初中的学校生活有一种向往和激情,对英语学习的积极性也较高,交通工具又是他们上学所要使用的,如果会用英语来表达,也是一种自豪。

所以,只要正确的引导,他们会主动去学。

教学重点:
1.学读会写表交通工具的短语:take the train , take the bus, take the subway, ride the bike ,walk.
2.能够熟练运用句型:
①---How do you get to school ?
--- I take the train / take the bus/ take the subway/ ride the bike /walk.
②---How does he/she get to school ?
--- He/She takes the train / takes the bus/ takes the subway/ rides the bike
/walks。

3.能听懂听力。

3.教学难点:
能够根据不同的情景,灵活运用句型
①---How do you get to school ?
--- I take the train / take the bus/ take the subway/ ride the bike /walk.
②---How does he/she get to school ?
--- He/She takes the train / takes the bus/ takes the subway/ rides the bike
/walks。

德育目标:
通过句型练习,比较出那种交通工具更环保,更能体现出“低碳生活”,倡导学生们多骑自行车或步行上学。

教学过程:
Step 1: lead-in.(5min)
1.Greetings.
T:Good morning,my dear students .
Ss:Good morning ,teacher.
2.英文儿歌欣赏“How do you go to school? ”
I go to school by bus .
I go to school by bike .
I go to school by car .
How do you go to school ?
......
3.Free talk .
T: Hello,boys and girls ,can you answer the question : How do you go to school ?
S1: I go to school by car .
S2: I go to school by bike .
S3: I go to school by car .
S4: I go to school on foot .
......
(本环节设计目的:首先通过欣赏英文小儿歌“How do you go to school?,吸引学生的注意力,其次通过歌词对句型“I get to school by ...”有所了解,最后通过歌词How do you go to school ?引出本课的语言目标。


Step2: Presentation.
1.Demonstrating five pictures and brainstorming the useful phrases : take the train , take the bus, take the subway, ride the bike ,walk.
2.Self-check the useful phrases .
3:Tree talk .
①T: Do you want to know how I can get to school?
S: Yes .
T : I ride to school . How do you get to school ?
S1: I take the bus .
S2:I take the car .
......
②point one student ,
T:How does he/she get to student ?
T: He/She takes the train / takes the bus/ takes the subway/ rides the bike
/walks。

(本环节设计目的:通过图片展示,让学生们能形象的理解单词,帮助记忆单词,然后让学生在有限的时间里自我检测,激发学生的竞争意。

然后通过老师的自问自答,引导学生们会使用本节课所学到的短语回答问题:How do you get to school ?最后通过人物转换,让学生们掌握how does he/she get to school ? He/She takes to school. )
Step3 :Pairwork.
1.Make conversations with your partner.
S1: How do you get to school?
S!: I ride to school . How do you get to school ?
S2: I take the bus .How do you get to school ?
S3:How does he/she get to student ?
S1: He/She takes the train / takes the bus/ takes the subway/ rides the bike /walks .
2.Ask several groups to present their conversations .
(本环节设计目标:通过学生自编对话和展示对话,以达到活学活用句型。


Step4:LIstening.
Listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture
(本环节设计目的:能根据听力材料,找出正确的答案,培养学生的听力能力。


Step5:Grammer focus.
1.take the train =by train
take the bus =by bus
take the subway =by subway
ride the bike =by bike
walk = on foot
2.①---How do you get to school ?
--- I take the train / take the bus/ take the subway/ ride the bike /walk.
②---How does he/she get to school ?

(本环节设计目标:一是让学生们可以进行句型转换.二是让学生明白当主语是第一人称I 时,动词要用原形;当主语是第三人称单数he/she 时,动词要用第三人称单数(即在动词后加s)。

1.用所给词的适当形式填空。

教学反思:
从教学设计的整体来看,我设计共包括:导入、展现、小组活动、听力、语法、练习和小结,环节设计较紧凑,每步的引导较到位,及在教学的实施中用到了英文小歌曲和录音机等,极大的刺激了学生的学习兴趣,大部分的学生很乐意参与其中,但是有个别的学生基础较差,还没能很好的掌握本节课的语言目标;对他们的关注度不够,没能及时发现他们的问题,及时给出指导。

从课堂作业设计来看,能根据语法所学的,出题进行练习,及时反馈学生的掌握情况,及时对不会的给予指导,达到最后的目标能应付考试。
