第二部分教学过程
第一步：重难点突破
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you? I’m fine, too.
Let me introduce myself first.首先，让老师来作个自我介绍。

I’m Jessie. I’m from Wuxi. 我叫Jessie。

我来自无锡。

(PPT出示)
What’s your name? Where are you from? (PPT出示) 你叫什么名字？你来自什么地方？请你用I’m _______ . I’m from ________ .(PPT出示) 来告诉老师。

T: Oh, I see. We are from different places. 我们来自不同的地区。

But we are all from China. (PPT出示国旗和长城)
I’m from China. I’m Chinese. I speak Chinese. (PPT出示)
请你大声地朗读这三句话。

T: Look at the children. Where are they from? T hey’re from the UK. (PPT出示英国国旗和大本钟)
They’re from the UK. They’re British. They speak English. (PPT出示句子和单词，带读) T: How about them? Are they from the UK?
No, they’re from the USA. They’re American. They speak English. (PPT出示句子和单词，带读)
T: Next, look and say.
这三位同学正在介绍自己。

如果你是他们，该怎么说呢？请用下面这几句话为他们配配音。

第二步：课文学习
T: Today we are going to the English Club. 今天我们要去英语俱乐部看一看。

(PPT出示单词和词组，带读)
今天英语俱乐部来了客人，是谁呢？我们来听一听。

(PPT播放前言)
T: The English Club has a visitor today. (PPT出示单词，带读)
What’s his name? Let’s listen again. (再次播放前言)
T: Who’s the visitor? What’s his name?
His name is Tony White. Let’s say hello to him. 我们跟他打个招呼吧！Hello, Tony!
The children are talking to Tony happily. 孩子们正与Tony高兴地交谈着。

他们在说什么呢？我们去听听。

(播放金太阳A部分)
T: They’re introducing themselves.原来他们正在作自我介绍！
Let’s watch and listen again. 我们在来听一遍。

这次可要听清楚了Where are they from?他们分别来自什么国家？

1.Where’s Tony from? He’s from the USA.
2.Does he live in London? No, he doesn’t. He lives in New York.
他住在纽约。

I’d like to visit it one day. 我希望有一天我能去纽约参观。

(PPT出示句子，教visit) T: Now open your books and turn to Page 68.现在请你打开书，翻到68页。

Read the dialogue by yourselves. 请你自己来读课文。

T: 读完了吗？老师还有几个问题要问你。

T: Nancy and David are sister and brother. Where are they from?
3.Where are Nancy and David from? They’re from the UK.

Look at Ben.
4.Is Ben British? No, he isn’t.
Where’s he from? He’s from the USA.
5.Does he speak Chinese? No, he doesn’t. He speaks English and French.

T: You did a good job. Now let’s listen and repeat.
(听录音跟读课文)
T: You read very well. Now read the dialogue by yourselves. 现在请你来读课文，要注意我们今天学习的单词和句子。

(组织学生读课文)
T: This time , let’s try to act. 请你在小组里和小伙伴一起分角色表演对话吧！
(本步骤设计说明：本课对话是以英语俱乐部为背景，围绕来访者Tony展开自我介绍，从而涉及到了国家、国籍和语言。

教师在安排学生听录音，看动画后，用回答问题的方式帮助学生理清人物身份，理解课文）
第三步：巩固操练
T: The children are very excited at the English Club. 孩子们在英语角非常兴奋，回到教室后他们纷纷向同学介绍在英语角的所见所闻。

Please read the passage and try to complete it. 读一读，然后根据课文内容填空。

第三步说明
本节课展现的是发生在英语俱乐部的一段对话，通过俱乐部成员与新的来访者Tony White的互相介绍，引入关于国家、国籍和语言的对话交流。

教师首先通过自我介绍这一话题引导学生理解和运用对话中的主要句子：I’m from.. .I’m ...(哪国人) I speak ...再
用为图中人物配音的方式进行巩固操练。

在课文学习的过程中，教师注重对学生听力和阅读能力的训练，在听和读的过程中理解课文。

最后通过书面练习，让学生再次巩固课文。
