Step 1：Warming－up and lead－in
1．Ask one student to make the gestures of the animals on the paper and the other students to guess what animals they are.
2．Write down the words on the blackboard.

zebra n．斑马tiger n．老虎
3．Ask students to match the animals with their food.

4．Show the map of different continents to introduce the new words：Europe，Asia，Africa，the Arctic Step 2：Listening
1．Look at the pictures in Activity 1.Ask and answer：What can you see?
2．Call back the answers from the whole class and check them.
3．Listen and check(√) the words in Activity 1 you hear.(Activity 2 )

Step 3：Listening and reading
1．Play the recording and ask the students to listen and read the conversation in Activity 3.
2．Ask the students to read again silently.
3．Read it and underline all the points which are important with partners.
4．Show the points to the class，and explain some difficulties to them.
5．Act it out.
6．Ask the students to complete the table in Activity 3.
