三、语法知识：
1. 疑问词+不定式（to do）
疑问词有疑问代词who, whom, what, which, whose和疑问副词when, where, how, 此外，连接词whether也适用。

“疑问词+不定式”结构有下列五种功能：
⑴当主语，如：
When to hold the meeting has not yet been decided. 何时开会还没有定下来。

Where to live is a problem. 住哪里是个问题。

⑵当宾语，如：
We must know what to say at a meeting. 我们必须知道在会上说些什么。

⑶当表语，如：
The problem is where to find the financial aid. 问题是到哪找到财政援助。

⑷当名词同位语，如：
Tom had no idea which book to read first. 汤姆不知道先读哪本书。

⑸当宾语补足语，如：
Jim is not sure whose to choose.吉姆不确定选择谁的。

适用于“疑问词+不定式动词”的动词包括：
know, see, decide, tell, ask, consider, discover, explain, forget, guess, hear, imagine,
inquire, learn, remember, think, wonder, understand等。

值得特别注意的是：当“疑问词+不定式”结构作宾语时，它的作用等于名词分句：I could not decide which dictionary to buy.
= I could not decide which dictionary I should buy. 我不能决定买哪本字典。

有些动词，如ask, show, tell, advise, inform, teach等，可以先有个宾语，然后才接着加上适当的“疑问词+不定式动词”结构。

例如：
Have you told him where to get the form? 你告诉他哪里领表格了吗？
2. must和have to的用法
1、must表示说话人的主观思想，强调个人意志和主观的决心。

主要用于肯定句和疑问句，“必须，得，要”。

【例句】You must finish your homework today. 你今天必须完成家庭作业。

must 的否定形式must not表示禁止，“不能，不允许”。

【例句】You must not smoke here.你不能在这里抽烟。

2、have to 表一种客观的需要，“不得不”。

侧重于客观上的必要，强调客观条件作用的结果。

have to 有人称和数的变化。

【例句】It is getting dark. He has to go home now. 天快黑了，你现在得回家了。

have to 的否定形式do not have to, 相当于need not 。

【例句】They do not have to buy a computer at the moment.
他们目前没有必要买电脑。

注意：must 还可以表示肯定猜测，意思是“一定” 。

否定的猜测是can’t。

【例句】You must be hungry after all that walking.走了那么远的路，你一定饿了吧。

That can’t be Lucy. She has gone to American.那肯定不是Lucy，她已经去了美国。

四、书面表达：
Reading Is a Good Hobby
With development of science and technology, new knowledge comes every day. If you stop learning even for a day, you will be lost.
Reading is a good way to help you keep in touch with the outside world. Read widely and you’ll be rich in knowledge. Reading is also a good way to relax yourself. You can get a lot of fun in the books. A good book is a good friend to comfort you when you are unhappy.
So long as you have a good book at hand, you’ll never feel lonely. Every
valuable book will open a new world before you.
My Reading Habits
My favourite hobby is reading. Every day, I spend two hours reading different kinds of books. I’m interested in reading novels because novels usually have interesting and amazing endings.
There is a big library in our school. I often borrow books from this library. I can keep the library books for two weeks. Reading is very interesting. Good books are like good friends.
Reading helps us relax. Reading can also open up a whole new world to me.。
