摘要：PURPOSE:To make vibration control possible with a simple and less expensive structure, by installing a driving device between a structure body and a wall or floor that are made displaceable in horizontal directions and by allowing the wall or floor to access or part from the structure body in proportion to the vibration of the structure. CONSTITUTION:A part of walls or floors of a structure body A is made displaceable in horizontal directions and a driving device composed of a superconductive magnet 4 and a permanent magnet 5 or a linear motor is provided between the structure body A and the movable wall or floor 1. The motion of the structure body A induced by earthquake or the like is detected by a vibration sensor 19 and a control device 18 is made to control the driving device, which, being controlled by the control device, allows the movable wall or floor 1 to access or part from the structure body A. By installing such vibration control device, a large-scale vibration control structure will not be required and reinforcement measures for the structure body A to support such large-scale structure will not be required, too.
