一、教学内容分析
本课课文介绍威廉姆斯姐妹成长和成功的经历，通过阅读，学生将从另一个角度体会英雄的含义。

本课难度不大，学生对威廉姆斯姐妹的名字可能已有耳闻，但是不了解她们的成长经历。

学生在本课中，要学习两姐妹积极向上，通过努力改变自己的命运的奋斗精神。

本课的重点是获取两姐妹成长和通过努力获得成功的有关信息，学习相关的词汇和表达法，并在此基础上，用自己的语言向他人介绍威廉姆斯姐妹。

二、教学目标
1. 认读新词汇并使用新词汇转述课文；
2. 提取和整理有关威廉姆斯姐妹的细节信息；
3. 用一个适当的标题概括全文；

在阅读过程中，通过课件完成任务型教学，如：断落与主题连线，归纳文章标题等，在阅读之后，通过课件呈现课文要点和关键词，引导学生输出相关信息。

六、教学评价设计
本节课教学目标明确，重点突出，教学活动设计考虑了学生认知水平和兴趣所在，学生积极参与课堂教学。

在阅读教学中，使用多媒体激发学生阅读兴趣。

从阅读策略上来看，如略读、跳读到细节阅读三个基本步骤，如在细节阅读步骤中，一边播放课文录音一边让学生阅读课文内容，在培养学生阅读能力的同时，增加了听力训练。

最后利用几张两姐妹的图片信息，让学生完成复述课文的任务。

总之，利用信息技术在英语教学中使策略选择得到很好的实施。
