Ladies and gentlemen,
I am honored to have the opportunity to speak to you today about the climate stance of Germany. action on climate change. We are working with businesses to promote sustainable practices, with communities to support local climate initiatives, and with individuals to raise awareness and encourage sustainable behaviors.
Of course, Germany is not immune to the impacts of climate
change. We are already experiencing more frequent and severe heatwaves, storms, and other extreme weather events. These impacts are not only a threat to our environment, but also to our economy and our way of life. That is why Germany sees climate action as a priority for our own well-being, as well as for the well-being of the entire planet.
