摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain the balanced modulator which is used for SSB communication or the inverted spectrum privacy telephone of a cordless telephone, etc., and reduces the leakage of carrier signals at the output. CONSTITUTION:An input signal Vi is differentially amplified by a differential input amplifier DA1. A carrier signal generator 11 generates a pair of carrier signals with inverse phases. A multiplier 10 multiplies and outputs the differential signal from the differential input amplifier DA1 and a pair of carrier signals from the carrier signal generator 11. At such a time, it is the feature for a pair of carrier signals from the carrier signal generator 11 that the output level is set at the linear approximate area of the transistor of the multiplier 10. Since the transistor of the multiplier 10 operates in the linear approximate area, the balanced modulator can be obtained to reduce the leakage of carrier signals contained in the output signal of the multiplier.
