Unit 3 Numbers and Animals Part A 说课稿
Good morning, honorable judges and teachers. I am glad to interpret my lesson here. The lesson I’m going to tal about is Part A of Unit 3, Fujian Education Press, Boo 3. I’ll prepare five parts to say something about this lesson.
Part One Analysis of the teaching material
This unit introduces and develops the theme of ?Numbers and Animals? Students are epected to master the new words cow，horse，sheep，thirteen，fourteen，fifteen，siteen and use the sentence patterns “I have….”in proper situation. By study of this unit, the students now how describe the number of their belongings
with simple words and sentences. The study of this lesson will help the students with daily communication.
Therefore, on studying the teaching material and regulation of the students’growing of mind, I put forward the teaching objectives according to the New English Lesson Standard.
The first is aims on the nowledge
(1) To enable students to learn some new words, such as cow，horse，sheep，thirteen，fourteen，fifteen，siteen and to master the sentence patterns I have….
(2) The students can read and understand the conversation of the lesson.
The net is aims on abilities
(1) The ability aim is to enable the students to tal about the number of their belongings. Mae sure that students can use these sentences in real situations.
(2) To develop students’abilities of communication and their innovation
Aims on the emotion
(1) The emotion aim is to foster students? consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.
(2)By completing the tas, the students increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study.
The main and difficult points about this lesson are
(1) To mae sure students can pronounce the word “fifteen”correctly.
(2) To help students to use the sentence pattern I have…correctly.
Part Two Ways of teaching and learnin g
As we all now the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils? basic abilities of listening and speaing and their good sense of the English language.
Students are epected to learn in real situation, so I will use some pictures, cards and body language to help them get a better understanding of the content. A tape recorder and multimedia computer will help me to achieve the aims.
The Tas-based teaching method, Communicative teaching method and Group cooperation teaching method will be used in this period.
Part Three Teaching procedures and purpose of my designin g
I’ll finish this in five steps.
Step1. Warm-up and preview
1. Greetings
2. Listen to the song Old MacDonald Has a Farm
3. Review some words of animals such as dog, hen, cat and duc with flash cards.
P It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the students by singing. And at the same time it provides situations to review learned nowledge for the net step.
Step 2. Presentation
Now I will mainly tal about this step.
1. First I will show students a picture of farm, and as students what they can see on the farm. Then lead to the new words cow, sheep, horse one by one. Practice these words and phrases with “High and Low Voice”.
P To present the ey phrases one by one is much easier for the students to learn and grasp the meanings.
2. CAI shows pics of sheep, cows and horses, let students to count the number. Then lead to the new words thirteen, fourteen, fifteen and siteen.
P With the help of CAI, the students can get a better understanding of the tet.
3. Play tape recorder once and lead to the sentence pattern “I have….”. Then the T plays the tape recorder twice or three times, let students listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
P Accurate pronunciation is very important in English learning. Teacher should train the students? ability of imitation consciously.
Step 3. Practice
Play a game. (What is different!)
PPT shows a couple of pictures, let students to find out the differences of these pictures. The group which finds out first will win a point. P This game can arouse students? interest in learning English. Meanwhile, it also help to consolidate the new words and phrases.
Step 4. Consolidation
Divide the students into 4 groups. Each one would do a survey to finds out the numbers of their belongings (such as school things, farm animals). And then find out which group finishes faster.
P Tas-based Teaching Method is used here to develop the Ss? ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.
Step 5. Homewor
1. Listen to the tape and repeat.
2. Finish off the activity boo of this lesson.
