摘要：PURPOSE:To realize miniaturization and light weight, by integrating a modulator part to turn ON/OFF a microwave by an amplitude modulation signal with the antenna of a microstrip line. CONSTITUTION:In the antenna 1 of microstrip, a microwave signal is fed between the center part of one side 11a of a conductor pattern 11 of four sides whose side length is around 1/2-wave and the equivalent part 12a of a ground conductor 11b which corresponds to the center part. Also, an impedance control element 2 is connected between the center part of the confronting side 11b of the side 11a and the equivalent part 12b of the ground conductor 12 which corresponds to the center part. By turning ON/OFF current I from a bias power source 3 to be added on the element 2 by the amplitude modulation signal, all of the microwave signals fed to the antenna 1 are terminated at the impedance resistor R of the element 2 when the current I flows, thereby, it is not radiated to the space as a wave. Also, when the current I is cut off, the microwave signal is radiated from the antenna 1 as the wave. Therefore, the antenna 1 becomes the antenna with a modulation function.
