The gene is a term coined by Danish scholar W.L. Johannsen in 1909 first proposed. Genetic engineering is a new science in the development of molecular biology and molecular genetics basis in twentieth Century 70's birth. It can be said that the recent development of engineering technology. This article mainly tells application of genetic engineering in medicine in the three aspects, including genetic engineering drugs, gene diagnosis, gene therapy. With the development of technology and people made in gene achievements, this project, more and more countries and researchers interested in this method. The fruits of development becomes more and more visible, especially in the medical field. Scientists found that cancer, diabetes, heart disease, hemophilia and other deadly diseases are related to the human gene. If people find the disease gene, then the treatment of these diseases will not be a problem. At present, people have treated SCID by gene therapy, and through the production of gene engineering drug in the treatment of some diseases, such as diabetes treated with insulin. At the same time, the doctor also by gene diagnosis in the diagnosis of hepatitis B virus. Therefore, the role of genetic engineering in medicine is very significant. Genetic engineering will bring development better to medicine.
基因一词是由丹麦学者W.L.约翰森在1909年首次提出来的。基因工程是在分子生物学和分子遗传学综合发展基础上于20世纪70年代诞生的一门崭新的生物技术科学。可以说是近期才发展的工程技术。本文主要是从基因工程药物、基因诊断、基因治疗三个方面来介绍基因工程在医学上的应用的。随着科技的发展以及人们对基因所取得的成就,这项工程越来越受到国家与科研人员的兴趣,在这方法的发展成果也日益可见。特别是在医学方面,科学家发现癌症、糖尿病、心脏病、血友病等致命疾病都与人类基因有关,如果人类找到了那些病的致病基因,那么治疗这些病便不是问题。目前,人们已经通过基因治疗法治疗了SCID,并且通过生产基因工程药物治疗一些病,比如说胰岛素治疗糖尿病。同时,医生还通过基因诊断法诊断肝炎病毒。所以,基因工程在医学上的作用是非常显著的,它将给医学带来更好的发展。
