Abstract: With the development of China’s opening-up, more and more Western culture gets into our sight. As we face with unfamiliar cultures and countries, some inevitable cultural conflicts might happen in the communication, which will seriously affect the contacts being carried out smoothly. Table manners have a decisive position in the communication between China and Western countries. During communication we will show our best image and avoid cultural conflicts. Learning and using the right etiquette will not only step up our own impression, but also promote the benefit and strife of the company. This paper focuses on the differences of table manners between the West and China, and analyzes the reasons that caused the differences.

摘要：摘要：中国与世界各国的交流越来越密切，在交流的过程中，彼此都会感受到彼此国家的礼仪。

了解礼仪的起源，有利于认识礼仪的本质，自觉地按照礼仪规范的要求进行社交活动。

因此，通过中美餐桌礼仪看待中美涉外礼仪是有内在联系的，并结合了餐桌礼仪和涉外礼仪多方面。

从而更深入的了解涉外礼仪。

Abstract: As china communicate with other countries become more and more frequently, during this progress, we can learn different etiquette from each other. It is very important to know the source of etiquette because it can help us know the nature of etiquette and obey the rules of etiquette to do social activities all by ourselves. Therefore, there is a link between China and America in Etiquette through table manners , and it combines with table manners , Etiquette Concerning Foreign Affairs and any other side.
