Date: May 29th, 2015 【Teaching Aims】
1.The knowledge-learning target
The students will be able to master the structures and usage of the passive voice of different tenses and passive voice with modal verbs.
2.The abilities-cultivating target
The students will be able to summarize the rules of the passive voice by themselves.
The students will be able to make sentences and answer questions with the passive voice.
3.The moral-penetrating target
The students will be encouraged to compete with others.
【Teaching Procedure】
Step1 Lead-in
1.Enjoy an English song sung by Justin Bieber.
2.Ask Ss to answer three questions, and then help them to rewrite their answers with the
passive voice.
3. Ask a student to summarize the structure of passive voice of simple present tense.
设计意图:通过听英文歌,激发学生兴趣。
利用学生对三个问题的回答导入新课:被动态的学习。
让学生观察三个句子,自己总结被动态在“一般现在时”中的结构,意在发挥学生的主动性,同时又很好地活跃了课堂竞争学生的气氛,关注了学生的课堂注意力。
Step 2Presentation and Practice
1.Learn the passive voice of simple present tense.
1)Rewrite sentences.
2)Make a sentence according to a picture and key words.
2.Learn the passive voice of simple past tense.
1)Talk about the sports meet.
2)Complete sentences.
3.Learn the passive voice with modal verbs.
1) Talk about pictures.
2)Choose the best answer.
4.Learn the passive voice of other kinds of tense.
Listen and fill in blanks.
设计意图:通过形式多样的练习帮助学生掌握各种时态及含情态动词的被动态的用法。
学生在观察中发现规律,自己总结各种被动态结构,是一种自主学习策略的指导。
最后一个环节的听力练习既让学生在具体语境中进一步感知各种时态的被动语态,又锻炼了听力,一举两得。
Step 3 Consolidation
1.S ummary
2.T ranslate sentences into English.
设计意图:通过让学生进行小组讨论并结合本组不同组员的意见,最终归纳总结,从这点可以充分发挥学生思维的开拓,帮助学生从整体上掌握被动态的各种结构。
翻译6个句子让学生进一步熟悉被动态的用法,及时做出反馈,为下一个环节自己造句做准备。
Step 4 Class activities
1. Play a game.
2. Have a competion.
设计意图:让学生在体验中学习。
通过学生自己造句的游戏充分发挥学生的主动性和创造性,让语法学习变得生动活泼。
通过知识问答,既考验了学生的知识面,又复习了被动态。
小组竞赛的形式旨在鼓励学生参与,培养其竞争意识。
这两个课堂活动的设计都是为了把语法学习融入具体情境中,让学生做到活学活用。
Step 5 Assignment
Write a passage about the importance of English learning,using at least five sentences with the passive voice.
设计意图:让学生运用本节课所学进行语言输出。
