One day,Mary was walking in a park.She saw a little girl（女孩）sitting on a bench.The girl was very thin and looked
tired.When Mary went over,she saw that the girl was crying.
Mary asked her kindly,"What's the matter,dear?Why are you crying？"The girl wiped away her tears and said,"I'm hungry.I haven't eaten for two days."。
Mary was surprised and said,"Oh,dear!Why don't you have a meal?Don't worry.I'll buy you some food.What do you like to eat?" The girl said,"I like noodles best.Thank you,auntie."。
After that,Mary bought the girl a big bowl of noodles.The girl was so happy that she smiled from ear to ear.The girl ate up the noodles and said,"Thank you,auntie.Now I'm not hungry any more."。
When Mary said goodbye to the girl,she said,"Remember,you should always eat something when you are hungry." The girl smiled and nodded.
Mary saw the girl walking away happily.She sighed with
relief that the girl was OK now.She was glad to see the girl smiling.。
