Writing: A Letter of Complaint
Learning Objectives:
➢ To understand the structure and content of complaint letters ➢ To be able to compose a letter of complaint using appropriate language and tone.
1. The zipper on my jacket has come apart, making it impossible to close. 2. After a few washes, the seams(接缝) on my new shirt have become undone and need to be re-sewn. 3. The food at the party was left out for too long and became cold and unappetizing. 4. My new phone screen already has scratches on its surface, despite being careful with it. 5. This new moisturizer irritates my skin and causes redness and itching.
The movie was not as exciting as I had hoped it fast as I had hoped it to be.
The hotel room is not as spacious as I had hoped for.
