I went to the Summer Palace last weekend. The place was really beautiful and full of history. I was amazed by the ancient architecture and the stunning gardens. It was a great experience to learn about the royal life in ancient China.
The Summer Palace is a huge complex with a lot of different areas to explore. I particularly enjoyed the Long Corridor, which is the longest of its kind in the world. Walking along the corridor, I could see the beautiful paintings on the ceiling and the stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills.
One of the highlights of the visit was the Marble Boat, which is a famous landmark in the Summer Palace. It's
really impressive to see a boat made entirely of marble.
It's a great example of the extravagance of the ancient Chinese emperors.
I also took a boat ride on Kunming Lake, which was really relaxing and enjoyable. It was a great way to see the whole palace from a different perspective. The lake is so peaceful and the scenery is breathtaking.
I learned a lot about the history and culture of China during my visit to the Summer Palace. It's amazing to think about how this place has been preserved for so many years.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Chinese history and see some beautiful scenery.。
