考研辅导名师建议考生利用复试准备的这段时间好好准备一下英语听力的训练。

考研初试已经结束了一个月的时间了,但是考研复习还没有结束。

如果感觉考的还不错的考生,就要准备迎接复试了。

复试中英语是很重要的部分,复试的听力又是困扰众多考生的一个难点。

考研辅导名师建议考生利用复试准备的这段时间好好准备一下英语听力的训练。

注意事项一:培养良好的听音习惯听读顺序要合理
可能很多同学都有类似的同感,在听材料之前,都需要先第一下文字资料,但是正是因为这些文字资料的影响,而影响了对听的内容的正确理解。

在外语学习过程中,学习者多数情况下都是先习得文字符号,从书面材料开始,通过视觉即阅读来接收、理解信息,即便是在输入音响信息时,脑子里也总是自觉不自觉地想着文字符号。

这样久而久之就产生了对文字形式的依赖性,形成了本末倒置的不良听音习惯。

考生在复习中切忌读后听音。

先将听力材料读一遍,然后再听,表面上似乎听懂了,但实际上是读懂的,是靠脑子里储存的对阅读的记忆来理解音响信息的。

照此下去,阅读非但不能帮助反而束缚和制约了听力的发展和提高。

也切忌边听边读。

听、读同时进行,似乎有助于听懂,但如果长期如此,会同样使听力陷入误区,即不能
将大脑的思维活动集中在音响信息上,而是在听、读之间往返,听觉、视觉交替进行,导致精力分散,无法专心致志。

考研辅导老师建议大家:一定要先听,即使一下子听不懂,也不要忙于看文字材料,这时再听第二遍、第三遍,如果还是听不懂,再求助于文字材料,但此时至少所听内容的语音形式已在你脑子里留下了一定的印象,甚至还能重复出来,借助于阅读使你理解了这些语音信息,一旦同样信息在另一种场合再现时,便不再成为难点,这才能达到阅读促进听力的目的。

注意事项二:边听边记关键词训练短期记忆能力
听力复试题大部分都是非常具体的细节,音响信息瞬间即逝,有时单凭大脑记
忆是不够的,需要强化记忆的内容必须随时笔录下来,对此万学海文建议考生:
(1)练习听写,平时听录音时就要有意识地将关键信息写下来,一方面训练信息接受的准确性;另一方面培养短期记忆、正确拼写单词的能力。

练习听写还能强制性地迫使自己全神贯注、积极思考。

(2)学会用最简单、最省时、自己最熟悉的符号记录信息,只要自己能识别的,汉字、代码、符号什么都行。

长单词可以暂记两三个字母,用箭头表示方位或发展方向等。

总之,要有意识地训练自己的速记能力,借助于记录,使自己听得准,听得全,记住得多,回答得正确。

注意事项三:熟记语篇衔接词把握信息走向
在做新题型、完形填空和阅读理解时我们已经说过,语篇衔接词的重要性。

听力也是一样的,在听音过程中,考生的思路要想跟上录音的意流,把握信息的走向,必须将注意力投放在这些衔接词上,这对提高获取信息的效率起着至关重要的作用。

比如表示列举、增补关系的and、in addition to、one more thing等;表示转折或对比关系的如although、by contrast、as a matter of fact等;表示顺序或序
列关系的如first、before、first of all等;表示解释或强调关系的如that
is、in particular、I mean等;表示因果关系的如as a result、therefore、
since等;表示归纳、结论性关系的如as a result、altogether、finally等;
掌握了上述词及其功能,考生就能意识到说话人先说什么、后说什么,什么时
候转问题,即便是遇到生词或错过了一两句,也可以对上下文内容做出合乎逻辑的推
测判断,保持思维的连贯性,更好地理解整个语段的内容。

注意事项四:选择合适的听力材料,精、泛结合
选择合适的听力训练材料,对于有效利用时间,少走弯路,在相对短的时间内提
高听力水平也是一个重要因素。

关于听力材料的选择,我们认为,应该从两方面考虑:
一是难度适中,即从自己的实际水平出发,选择难易程度适合的材料。

材料难
度太大,会丧失信心、失去兴趣,产生恐惧感;过于简单,易盲目乐观、缺少压力,不
利于提高。

万学海文建议广大考生可以选择正常速度的录音,过快或者过慢都不利
于锻炼考生的听力能力。

二是录音材料的种类。

方法技巧,并按题材分单元逐个训练,适于学生从低到高,由易到难,打好扎实的基础,逐步提高水平。

良好的心理素质不管是在初试还是复试中都是取胜必备的主要因素。

大部分
的考生对听力存有恐惧心理,未听先怕,以至于使本来就相对紧张的状态更加紧张。

因此,考生应认识到,考场不仅有知识的拼搏,更有心理素质的考验,作好心理准备是

能够就某一观点的正确与否进行争论,详细说明一个问题、一个过程或一个事件。

此外还能就某个一般性问题或所熟悉领域的问题进行阐述。

为此,考生应该能够做到以后几个方面:
1)使用适当、精确的口语表达思想,并能够表达出较长的、连贯达意的话语,
中途由于考虑措辞及语言的恰当性可以有正常的迟疑或停顿;
2)积极地与对话伙伴进行交流,并能够使用有效的交流补救措施来弥补自己在谈话中的过失。

二、重视给考官的第一印象
口试教师的第一个目的是得到有关考生英语水平的初步印象。

老师可以选择
日常的话题或者是根据考生的自我介绍等信息了解考生的英语水平,这一印象对于考生的最后得分至关重要。

因为根据心理学测试的结果,一个有经验的面试官可以在口试开始后1-2分钟之内得出对考生评判的结论,而无需等到口试结束。

在余下的时间里,口试教师多半都在按照自己初步结论的惯性思维,从考生的回答中有意无
意地寻找符合自己所做结论的证据来进一步证实自己的结论是正确的。

其实这种思维方式不仅体现在各种口试中,也普遍存在于社会生活的方方面面,我们对于一个人或任何事物在最初接触时形成的第一印象往往是很难改变的,除非发生什么戏剧性的情况,这种印象经常是占据主导地位的。

这就意味着我们应该特别注意对第一阶段最初几个问题的回答,尽管它们都是非常简单的问题,考生绝不能掉以轻心,忽视对这些简单问题的回答。

有些考生在回答这些简单问题时甚至会犯一些低级错误,给口试教师留下不好的第一印象,也影响了自己后面的正常发挥。

口试教师明明在问:“你是做什么的?”考生却回答:“我正在跟你谈话。

口语考试应该是不仅用口,还要用心回答每个问题,在回答任何问题时,不要慌慌张张地急于切入主题,大脑中迅速思考一下这个问题可能涉及到的后续问题,尽量把话题引到自己比较熟悉而口试教师又可能感兴趣的话题上,而不要匆忙中为自己设下一个陷阱。

比如当口试教师问你曾经做过哪些职业或从事过哪些业余活动时,如果你的回答是“I like singing”就可能被问到更多有关singing的问题,如“w ho is your favorite
singer?” “What is your favorite song?” “Why do you like
him/her/it?”等等。

这就要求考生在考前要做好相应的准备,并在考试中思维敏捷,随机应变。

在面试快结束的时候,一般考官都会问,你有没有什么要问的。

这时候,如果你
是最后一个考生,明显感到所有的考官都急切的想离开,你可以说“I have nothing else to ask”; 否则,一般不适合说“I don’t have any question.”, 可以问
考官一两个你关心的问题, 比如:

Does our school provide some guidance of job to XXX?
最后可以说:T hank you for giving me the chance. I hope to see you again and soon. (谢谢您给我机会,我希望很快能再见到您。

四、复试常用话语
由于紧张,难免面试老师的话听不清楚,千万不要不好意思进行询问(当然也不能就一个问题一直问个不停),对于自己不清楚的问题一定要勇于承认,免得弄巧成拙。
