In Eton, mornings begin at 8:35 a.m.after breakfast with chapel(礼拜), an assembly or a tutorial(导师指导) meeting. All of these end at 8:50 a.m.and school begins at 9:00 a.m. Schools (lessons) are 40 minutes long, with a 10 minute gap to allow boys time to move around the large school area. After three schools, the boys have a mid-morning break and masters meet together for what is called Chambers, a daily meeting for the teaching and senior administrative staff. Two further schools follow, beginning at 11:45 a.m., and boys then have lunch at 1:15 p.m., aiming to be out on the games field or at their next appointment by around 2:20 p.m.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are called Whole Schooldays. Boys have five schools during the morning, games or perhaps some other activities after lunch, then a shower and tea followed by two more schools called After Four and After Five. Tutorials take place during Quiet Hour on Whole Schooldays, which runs from 6:15 p.m.to 7:30 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are called Half Holidays, not because boys are idle(无所事事) after lunch but because games take place afterwards and there is no teaching in the afternoons. Mornings are as for whole schooldays, but games occupy boys between about 2:20 p.m.and 4:00 p.m. After that all sorts of things happen, such as theatre and music rehearsals and a considerable variety of minor sports.
Every day after supper there are many more things to do—boys may go to (or indeed be performing in) a play or a concert or attend one of the many society meetings, which well-known
people are invited to address, or they may want to catch up with their work, or just chat with friends.
On Saturday mornings there are four schools, then lunch and school sport. Click here for more information about Eton Sundays.

If you live in a city where everyone rushes, realize that you don't have to be like anyone else. You can be different. You can walk instead of driving in rush hour traffic. You can be on your iPhone or Blackberry less, and be disconnected sometimes. Your environment doesn't control your life—you do. I can't give you a step-by-step guide to move slower. 5.____
Do less.
Cut back on your projects, on your task list, on how much you try to do each day. Focus not on quantity but on quality. 6. ____Save smaller, routine tasks for later in the day, but give yourself time to focus.
Have fewer meetings.
7. ______And they eat into your day, forcing you to squeeze the things you really need to do into small windows, and making you rush.
8._______
When you do the important things with focus, without rush, there will be things that get pushed back and don't get done. And you need to ask yourself:How necessary are these things? What would happen if I stopped doing them?
Practice mindfulness.
Simply learn to live in the present, rather than thinking so much about the future or the past. When you eat, fully appreciate your food. When you're with someone, be with them fully. Try these things out. Life is better when unrushed.
9.________
A.Start to get rid of the unnecessary.
B.Meetings are usually a big waste of time.
C.Give yourself time to get ready and get there.
D.The world likely won't end if you don't get that task done today.
