Step 3 :Group work Get the students know that different people have different hobbies. Ask them work in four and help them say what their hobbies are .
Step 6:Homework Write a short passage ( about 60 words ) .The title is “My hobby” Tips:What is your hobby?Why do you like it?Is it helpful for your life ?

Step 4 :Listening Have the students listen to the conversation and find out the answers. Listen again and try to underline the important phrases.
Step 5 :Reading 1)Present a picture of garden and help the students focus on the main idea of a whole reading.
2 ) Help the students grasp the meaning of the new words through context. Get them learn to know how to guess the meaning of the new words. 3 ) Teach the students the new words and give them two minutes to digest.
