Step 1 Self-study
1.Ss will review adverbs of frequency they learnt in Section A.
2.Ss will calculate the percentage for each activity and match the
percentages with adverbs of frequency.
3.Ss will fill in the blanks by themselves.
Step 2 Group work
1.Ss will discuss their answers in the group.
2.Ss will conclude how to use adverbs of frequency.
Step 3 Group show
1.The teacher will ask one student to write his or her answers on the
blackboard.
2.Other students in his or her group will explain the answers to the
whole class.
3.Ss from other groups will give some supplements.
Step 4 Reading
1.The whole class will read the report together.
2.Ss will underline Jane’s good and bad habits.
3.Ss will find out how to write a passage about one’s living habits. Step 5 Writing
1. Ss will fill in the blanks in 3b
2.Ss will write a report about their good and bad habits and how often
they do the activities.
The model paragraph will be given by the teacher.

Ss will conclude how to write a report about good and bad habits and how to use adverbs of frequency.

有个别同学把“hardly
ever”写成“hardly never”.
2.学生对日常活动不会表达,写作前教师应该领着学生学习一下常
见活动,为写作铺垫。
