Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (《爱丽丝梦游仙境》) by Lewis Carroll has excited young readers for many years since it came out in 1865. The subway line, Beijing Daxing Express, became the first in China to use the technology of scanning the palms (扫描手掌) in May, 2023. To enjoy the service, people need to record their palms on machines in subway stations. Then, they have to turn on the palm-scanning function (功能) on their smartphones. After they finish this, they are allowed to go through the ticket gates without subway cards or smartphones. If they finish their rides, their smartphones will pay the money.
